There are thousands of Aboriginal- targeted education, housing, employment programs. Those who access them are lifted out of poverty, misery, unemployment. Those who don't aren't. Horse, water- water, horse.

The Aboriginal elders and leaders on the ground should be leading their people. But they aren't.  They are presiding over unspeakable degradation of Aborigines by other Aborigines. Rape, beating, theft, robbery, fighting, drinking - nobody dies that to his own people because of "systemic racism".

They are not leading because their people don't want to be led, Soren.  Indigenous Australia tribal society has largely been broken by the intrusion of Whites into the land and the determined effort they made to overturn traditional authority structures.  Blacks nowadays are willing to recognise their traditional leaders.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

You couldn't have espoused a bigger load of BS if you tried.

Most today who are claiming to be traditional leaders are so far from it it's not even humorous.

They never were & never will be.

You are such a lying wanker.

Aboriginal youth are running amok because they don't give a
f
uc
k
about tradition or traditional leaders.

And those that are classed as elders or traditional leaders are doing SFA to remedy the problem with their own youth because they are powerless.

Ah, I mistyped.  I actually meant to type "unwilling" but mistakenly forgot the "un" prefix.  I have now corrected it, so you might want to actually address what I meant to say and please, refrain from any Racism because it just betrays your ignorance and lack of education.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Cheesy Cheesy
Yeah but no but yeah but no but.

If they are unwilling to listen to their OWN elders then what is the point of those elders? And what is the point of a Voice, made up of such 'elders'?

The point is the extra 2nd, 3rd or 4th voice will not be made up of representative elders.....

but unrepresentative unelected trough groveling swill.

Aboriginals in this country are vastly over represented to govt/parliament today..... without an extra voice being enshrined in our constitution based on race.

VOTE NO!!!!! to this abysmal duplication of representation being enshrined as an amendment to our constitution.

It's intent is dishonest & deceptive.

The result will be divisive & widen any ground towards reconciliation.

It reinforces their position of authority, Soren.  You should be supporting it, it answers your calls for them to exercise their authority.  But of course, they can't do that without the Voice.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The voice is NOT Aboriginal facing, it is power facing.

The power will go to the useless, featherbedding Aboriginal activists and lawyers who already speak the political lingo, not to the brutalised women and delinquent kids.

The only ignorant racist here is you.

Unwilling to reconsider your ignorance or your Racism, hey, Gnads because you just love to insult and annoy your opponent?  Oh, dearie, dearie, me, Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I've made quite a few posts with reasons as to why Aboriginals do not require "another" 2nd, 3rd or 4th voice to Parliament.

You're the ignoramus who continues to ignore all the evidence that Aboriginal Australians are vastly over represented in their ability to bring their  issues/voice to Parliament compared to any other Australian.

Yet you think they should have yet another representative body imbedded in the constitution based solely on race....... that's racist & discriminatory.

We live in a representative democracy & you support undermining that with over representation for one racial minority over all other Australians ....... including yourself.

Insulting you is impossible but annoying you would be a bonus...... because you really are an idiot.

Thanks for going straight to the source, re gap statistics.

"Socioeconomic outcome area 4

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children thrive in their early years"

The problem is: the poverty industry bureaucrats writing this stuff, and seeing the world through an obsolete neoclassical economics lens, take it for granted that white kids are "thriving in their early years".....whereas we know 1 in 6 kids in Oz are not thriving but living in poverty,  and running amok in places like Mt Isa and Townsville.

Quote:
There are thousands of Aboriginal- targeted education, housing, employment programs. Those who access them are lifted out of poverty, misery, unemployment. Those who don't aren't. Horse, water- water, horse.

The question is: why do some black kids AND some white kids NOT access all those government services?

Answer: the poverty industry itself is a barrier.

So, rather than 'welfare' (a misnomer), we need jobs for all, since "the best form of welfare is a job"(... now who said that?....)

Quote:

Correct; unfortunately you can't lead a people demoralized by the crushing of their culture, and offered 'sit-down money' as compensation. It won't work, because 'sit-down money'  won't fix the demoralization.

Quote:
- nobody does that to his own people because of "systemic racism".

"sit-down money" - as it applies to blacks - IS systemic racism , ie the system which uses the dole (and unemployment) to control wage inflation IS racist, because the people most badly affected are blacks (with unemployment rates double that of non blacks).

Whereas with regard to whites, the dole 'merely' entrenches systemic disadvantage among those forced onto the unemployment scrap heap.

There is plenty of evidence - historical accounts up to 1990 that dead babies would go "into the pot" - the late Dr C.G. von Brandenstein, who learnt at least four Pilbara languages, said that in hard times, dead infants would routinely go ‘into the pot’.
There are plenty of accounts by respected anthropologists about Aboriginal cannibalism, e.g. Elkin, Roth, and the two Berndts. Even Manning Clark attested to the practice.

But what about all the raped babies now?

you say nothing - I was there I saw it and I didn't see you.

They are 15 to 20 times more likely to commit violent crimes than non-aboriginals

There is no solution for their behaviour they will not behave - Lidia Thorpe will never behave - it in their DNA

Let’s talk demoralisation for a moment. 6 million Jews were systematically murdered while their demoralised families were only allowed to watch. These demoralised families were dispossessed of their humanity and homeland and are still subject to a particular nasty form of racism. Today this demoralised remnant has become a self empowered community that’s a (global) force to be reckoned with.

Meantime .... NotsoGreat wants to to spend another entire day wanking online about a culture he knows nothing about except for what he has Googled. Idiot!
