Well - any voice and recognition are two different things..... putting them together is a fraud.

It's recognised you were here first - that was long ago - things are different now - MOVE ON!

'work in conjunction with other groups' - i.e. none of the current free rides will be abolished.... Jobs For Abos Only.  Massive duplication, no real work, and no change of any kind.

"1.    There shall be a body, to be called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice;

2.    The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice may make representations to the Parliament and the Executive Government of the Commonwealth on matters relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples;

3.    The Parliament shall, subject to this Constitution, have power to make laws with respect to matters relating to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice, including its composition, functions, powers and procedures."

There are already countless bodies - none of those will be disbanded.. this will just be another bureaucracy that will expand and expand.  It will be totally Aboriginal only and there are no equivalent bodies to represent anyone else.

They can make representations already, same as anyone else.  If they want a lobby group, they can pay for it like everyone else.

The Parliament can, at any time, make amendments to any 'voice - including composition, functions, POWERS and procedures.

POWERS YOU SAY???  What powers?

I'm voting no.... nothing has been presented to alter that.

You don't need power to advise - you just do it.

Nah then - what was that Langton comment about a voice without powers being a paper tiger?

And what role would the High Court have in that advising?

What's the word for an ignored Voice advice?  It's 'highcourtcase'. A word we would hear very often.

Aborigines should have NO special, constitutionally sanctioned access to parliament and government.  They had NO sovereignty before 1788. The whole First Nations and Aboriginal sovereignty campaign is an anachronistic retro- fitting of Stone Age tribes and clans to be invented as co-sovereign. The concept or word exists nowhere in any Aboriginal language. Nor do words and concepts like constitution, parliament, high court, executive government.

There is absolutely nothing Aboriginal about ANY of this BS. It is all, entirely, an appropriation of British concepts, shoehorning primitive Stone Age Dreamtime into modern European jurisprudence.

It will divide Australians irreconcilably, no matter which way the vote goes.

For that alone Elmer Fudd Tennis Albo will live in infamy in Australian history. As will Dutton if he joins Albo and endorses the Vice.

So now AlboGov is going to guarantee us that the 'voice' has no power of veto etc - but then, in the same breath, says that the high court will determine what its POWERS are.

What powers were those again?

Well - there's no way I'm voting for such an open-ended nonsense, where both government and high court can just change the rules at any time as they see fit.  One of the 'guarantees' of this 'voice' was that it would never be available for lawfare..... well - that's another lie shown for what it is.

The NO vote doesn't have to sink the 'voice' - the YES mob are doing a fine job of it for themselves.

Vote for it and you are a complete fool.
