You not being reactionary again, are you old boy?

Thank's Mothra....However unless people know what they are voting for any referendum won't get up IMO....Fwank is just full of crap as usual....The claims made by these right wing wankers are all bullshit because nobody knows what the voice will look like....Most reasonable people would wait until they know what they are talking about before making dickheads of themselves???

I shouldn't say breeding. This is god's waiting room. No new life here.

They come here to congratulate each other on their bigotry and shriek hysterically at any voice that challenges them.

Sooooo....  both of you Vicky Pollards would vote NO if the referendum was held now because there is not enough detail about the Voice?  Or is it wrong to think that you would vote YES as things are known today but also wrong to think you'd vote NO?

It is being touted as YES/NO vote on an Indigenous Voice in Parliament. It will probably not be. More likely, it will be a Yes or No on allowing politicians in Canberra to change the constitution. Why would you let them do that, without scrutiny? Oh, I get. They promise to explain everything afterwards.

you can discuss life expectancy etc any time but not in a thread about this 'voice' nonsense...

you refuse to see the connection between the economy, the gap and the voice.

you are at least as dangerous as the voice fanatics, since the gap must be closed, failure is not an option.

There is no connection..................

only to you because you can't see it; owing to your delusional every man for himself ideology.

Quote:
everyone agrees that this silly voice proposal (no parachutes yet) will not help their real problems one iota and will instead just be trouble for everybody

Well you and I agree....and the Right is divided .....but apparently polls show  a majority want the voice because they think it will assist in closing the gap.

Quote:
yet you persist... it is you who are the dangerous one apparently playing what you think is a very sneaky game to try and sneak this over the line by whining about economic issues instead of social issues ....... your way was tried - it failed like every other initiative to lift the Kaffir by his bootstraps out of his self-imposed dung heap.

Well yes, I'll own up: the Job Guarantee to close the gap is a way to expose the failings of the current dys- functional economic market orthodoxy which forces the least competitive onto the unemployment scrap heap.

Quote:
The very aptly named Mt Warning is showing us what will be the endless carry-on and insanity when any of that kind are given a free voice to control things.... wait for the eruption of 'sacred sites' requiring lock-outs that come about with this NON-FREEHOLD gift of an immense swathe of land up northern NSW - and you imagine the majority of people here are stupid enough to vote that into our constitution... clearly it is not I who am the enemy of the state here or the danger to society............... I am merely the message bearer of truth ...  truthteller you see .............

a "truth-teller"... with no understanding of how the current economic "groupthink" forces the least  competitive onto the unemployment scrap heap.

So you are responsible for bringing the 'cultural warriors' onto yourself.

Quote:
Remember Castro?  Well - to take his line -history will absolve me ... to add to it - but it will certainly hang you ............

I'm intrigued by the US; a ballooning national debt which has orthodox economists and the ordinary unknowing citizens in uproar, when of course there is no problem, because the US treasury and central bank can't run out of US dollars.....

Wrong on all fronts - the polls have been posted for you in real.... they do not show a majority wanting this at all ... I have yet to meet a single person including an Aboriginal, who wants this ... and the Aborigines know the truth of it same as anyone else with eyes and ears ...

https://www.roymorgan.com/findings/53-of-australians-would-vote-yes-to-establish...

December 20, 2022
53% of Australians would vote “Yes” to establish an ‘Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament’

Including in a majority of states.

I thought it was higher than 53%...probably falling over time....

Just a glitch.....

The general consensus is definitely NO - only a total fool would vote for it.
