No Greggary finds sexual predators and rapists in others via many threads here. Too much.

What has Greggary done?

So Lehrmann wouldn't sue if found not guilty and the circus went on for the simple reason that under civil suit laws a jury is more likely to use prejudice and emotion to reach a decision?

So what is the 'balance of probabilities' there?

'Jury'....in a civil suit?

While there can be Juries in civil suits, ordinarily, Judge alone.

And I say he will not sue not because of any Jury bias but for another very vital and obvious reason.  Come on Grappler...you have been playing expert in this matter ever since it began.

Why won't he sue civilly if he is acquitted?

Just raising questions and doubts and citing facts ... if that makes me an expert then so be it..... my humble views must be worth something then....

You said he wouldn't sue - I'm not your answer monkey...

What's to stop him getting on the stand in a civil suit and swearing on oath that it didn't happen and cite the simple reality that there is zero corroborating evidence?

Exactly the same thing which stopped him taking the stand in the criminal trial.

We have a winner!!!!!!!

He also would not want to risk providing new evidence which could lead to another indictment.....if ACT has changed the autrefois acquit principle.

Don't edit out what I posted - it makes Greggary look more guilty.

Methinks the greg doth protest too much.....

Best you front up and name these you accuse now... or forever hold your peace..... instead of your piece in your hand...

He does not want to swear he did nothing and he does not want to be cross-examined and he especially does not want to have to explain under oath and cross-examination why he gave three/four entirely different reasons for going to Parliament House that night with an inebriated woman in tow, left hurriedly and left after a short time....without the inebriated woman.

The preponderance of evidence is likely to lead to a loss, then.

If he sues, he cannot win unless he gives evidence.   Impossible.

...Not being present at the trial makes it difficult to comment knowledgeably,
but my optimistic guess would be that Lehrmann will be acquitted, with no
case to answer.

BTW, anybody who accepts any sworn testimony as being an authentic record
of the facts it purports to represent is, to say the least, naive.

Why were her clothes off, Geoff? Why was she there, naked and alone?

The fact that she was naked, or the fact that she was alone is in
no way circumstantial evidence that she was raped.  She may
have just taken a shower in Reynold's suite, and collapsed on
the couch still suffering from her drunkenness.

You're acting like a Lisa Wilkinson clone Mothra, and also sounding
like a judge, jury and executioner who've already convicted Lehrmann.
