New Rape Lawsuit Filed Against Trump

A writer who accused failed former president Trump of rape has filed a lawsuit
against him minutes after a new New York law allowing sexual violence victims
to sue over decades-old attacks came into effect.

78-year-old Elizabeth Jean Carroll's lawyer filed the legal papers electronically
as the Adult Survivor's Act temporarily lifted the state's deadlines for suing over
sexual assault. She is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages
for pain and suffering, psychological harms, dignity loss and reputation damage.

Previously, Carroll had been barred by state law from suing over the alleged rape
because too many years had passed since it happened. New York's new law now
gives sex crime victims who missed statute of limitations deadlines a second chance
to file a lawsuit.

Had to be one of the three.

I suppose now is a good time to refresh our memories about all of the other rape allegations against Failed Forty Five.

1) His ex-wife (who, although a very fit and active woman, fell down a set of stairs and died, and then was mysteriously buried on Failed Forty Five's golf course meaning that her remains can never be exhumed for forensic examination) alleged that he violently raped her and pulled out a handful of her hair from her head during the savage attack.

Civil law regulates the private rights of individuals. Criminal law regulates individuals' conduct to protect the public. Civil litigation is a legal action between individuals to resolve a civil dispute. Criminal prosecution is when the government prosecutes a defendant to punish illegal conduct.

a sworn divorce deposition—stated that the previous year her husband
had raped her in a fit of rage.

Trump was furious that a "scalp reduction" operation he’d undergone to
eliminate a bald spot had been unexpectedly painful.

Ivana had recommended the plastic surgeon. In retaliation, Donald yanked
out a handful of his wife’s hair, and then forced himself on her sexually.
The incident, which was detailed in Ivana’s deposition, was confirmed by
two of her friends.

Not at all. The coincidence here is Gordon trying to deny his Dear Leader being an active subject of civil litigation for damages relating to rape.

Gordon's no Trump man, you see. It's just a coincidence that this is his first post ever on the subject of civil law.

Two possibilities:

1) perjury

2) failure to pay damages

In a civil case, both of those things could see the alleged child rapist put behind bars.

Not at all. Gordon has just told us all how the civil courts have what is cunningly called, a "burden of proof."

Gordon knows E.J Carroll has already pased the evidentary bar to proceed. Gordon knows the 45th prez has already admitted to the key facts of the case. Gordon knows how hard E Jean Carroll has fought to have her day in court, rejecting all settlement offers, reputedly in the tens of millions.

Gordon's just developed a fascination for the subject of civil law, as you do. Gordon's no Trump supporter.
