So now we need permission from Aborigines to draw a picture of Ayer's Rock?

No need to panic Karen, they've acknowledged that they should never have sent it. You can unknot your knickers now

It's a rather odd mistake to make, don't you think?

As opposed to a normal mistake? Merely an
overzealous public servant who was likely on a power trip. If you deal with govt departments often enough you'll find there is nothing odd about it at all.

It was reasonable for a twitter ban in response to using Twitter to stage an insurrection that got people killed.

As the instigator of an insurrection Trump should be barred from holding any public office in the future under the terms of the constitutions 14th amendment.

It wasn't an insurrection. It was a Protest against a Corrupt Government that needs to held accountable to its International Crimes in the world and making America look bad, not Great.
Calling it an insurrection is like Donald Sutherland calling Katniss Everdeen an insurrectionist and terrorist.  Grin

So it doesn't matter how accurate a drawing is just say it is Uluru.

How about a caricature of Uluru? Would that need a permit as well? Roll Eyes

Is this the sort of thing we can expect if 'The Voice' becomes a reality?  Professional Aborigines and their public service apparatchiks  attempting to censor anything they don't like on 'cultural' or other dubious grounds?   And the irony of this particular piece of attempted censorship is delicious! Take away the United Kingdom of Entertainment or the Great Britain of Politics.
Take away the USA and its right for Free Settlers to own a gun and shoot natives.

What you are left with is a country with 25 million 'Aboriginal' people under Aboriginal Law.

Dare you (because the Poms and Yanks won't, it's not their problem) defy the Aboriginal Resurgence and Reclaimation of their own land??? Grin

Whoops. Might be time to update the site, FD.

It is when they're dealing with the Murdoch press, JS. Normally it's hands-off.

Perhaps Parks were empowered by last week's Media Watch on the futility of News Ltd's campaign against Dan Andrews.

Either way, Parks Australia should be nice, eat brown rice, and let anybody draw Uluru if they want.

If they're bored, they should tell FD to take down his silly black fence.

Oh, I don't know, Matty.

Doesn't seem to have quite the desired effect.

Perhaps putting the fence around it may help?

(I'd better be careful because what the hoist is standing on does look like a bit like a 'Mini Uluru').

Cartoonists!  Refrain from anti-social actions and dissident thoughts!  Remove your thinking from any possibility of a NO voice becoming mainstream!!  Follow loyally the commands of your public servants in their earnest desire to create a fair go country for all by removing your decadent and unworthy thoughts from the public eye!

Nonsense. Carl, your picture is perfect. The Hills Hoist is divine.

FD, can you please change your krappy picture? Carl's is heaps better.

No fences, please. We're British.

Cheers.

It was an uprising against a tyrannical Swamp, and the citizens are allowed to do that according to their Declaration of Independence ... it's a pity that every citizen in the US didn't join them, the traitorous DemSwamp needs to be brought to heel before they destroy the United States completely

If it was true, there wouldn't be hundreds of convictions and jail sentences for people who fought like hell and did exactly what Mr Trump said on Jan 6, killing 6, injuring hundreds and costing millions in property damage.

There wouldn't be convictions and jail sentences for Mr Trump's lawyer Mike, and his Financial Officer Allen, for doing what Mr Trump exactly told them to do. Mike even has him on tape.

It's all true, and the only reason Matty's Dear Leader is not behind bars yet is a little known decision by the DOJ known as executive privilege. And that's okay.

The investigations in Georgia, New York State, the DOJ and all those civil cases with all those deponents, have all the time in the world.

Truth. Justice. Rule of law. It's the American way, no?
