I'll look into those options if I need urgent scripts.

Oh, my new chair still hasn't arrived. I was almost prepared to bet this morning that it would have come during the 4 hours we spent at Belmont Forum and I'd find a card in the letterbox asking me to pick it up at the local Post Office but nope.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow. lol.

The other thing with scripts now is that GP's cannot fax scripts directly to chemists anymore. I think that was something started by the government during Covid lockdowns?

Came in handy because if my aunt needed new scripts I just had to ring her GP and the scripts would be faxed to the chemist (I gave the GP the chemist's fax number, of course).

Now we have to get the scripts directly from the GP - I don't believe they're even allowed to post them out. Not too sure because we've never asked the GP if she could do it.

Doesn't normally cause a problem though because we've always made sure we've have enough tablets and script repeats until my aunt's next visit to her GP.

We can still call GPs in NSW and ask for a new script they fax it to Chemist of your choice.

Perhaps you should ask McClown why he doesn't allow it in WA.

If you're eligible, you can utilise the government's Electronic Prescriptions service
through the The Australian Digital Health Agency portal.

You phone the clinic and make an appointment with your doctor. He/she
calls you back at a specified date and time, and issues an electronic script.
It can either be sent to your smart phone with a QR code, or emailed directly
to your chemist.

Still no sign of my new chair.

The Australia Post Tracking ID hasn't been updated since December 2nd when the chair was in Victoria as it said in my first post in the thread.

Amazon Australia tells me it will be delivered today (8th December) but seeing as it's now 9:35pm in Perth I think that's highly unlikely.

Maybe tomorrow (assuming it isn't on it's way to Tasmania next)? Roll Eyes

Time for a singalong.

I was fishing in the bay once, and hooked a flattie. As I was
pulling it in, a gummy saw it as bait, and I nearly pulled him
in too LOL. Hook was too small of course.

Now Amazon are concerrned that my package may be "lost".

I suspect it's just an automated update when a package hasn't been delivered after a certain period of time. I've seen it before when something has been delayed.

I'm going up to our local Australia Post Office in a few hours and I'll ask them if they have any new updates as to exactly where my chair is.. lol..
