I had two deliveries to my place today, and I got talking to the FedEx guy.

He told me that their trucks are now routinely followed by scumbags who wait for them to drop off parcels at the doorstep.

As soon as they leave, the thieves swoop in and take the parcel.

For that reason, he told me that now all deliveries have to be signed for - no more dropping boxes off at the door.

What about B*nnings? Bought and paid for a ladder and delivery two weekends ago—no sign of a ladder.

Don’t blame them, Christmass deliveries are hectic. I told them deliver it when you can, the walls won’t patch, sand and paint themselves, they will wait.

Mind you, the table from another B*nnings store and a mattress from a bed shop were delivered promptly.

They got me a good one.

I ordered a xmas present about 3 weeks back. I check the expected delivery and they were saying 3 - 4 days. I thought that a bit aggressive but went ok. Last week about 8 days later I got an email saying that Aus Post had picked it up with a tracking number. The Tracking is saying delivery on 28 Dec. I would have went for the express option had they told the truth.

Thats not the worst. Another one happening more and more often is to follow the delivery van and wait for the driver to run to the door with a parcel whilst leaving the van engine running ... then the passenger of the car following jumps out and into the van and they take the whole van full of parcels

why steal one at a time when you can save yourself some time. Roll Eyes

the stores often lie to get the order. They'll even take your order when the item isn't in stock.

I was reading a tweet from a lady yesterday where she bought her husband a new big screen TV because the old one wasn't working anymore.

They put the old broken TV in the box the new one came in and left it outside their front door overnight... next morning they found that someone had stolen it.

She said that was exactly what they'd been hoping for... saved them a trip to get rid of the new box and the old TV and karma for the thief when they discover they'd stolen a TV that doesn't work. Grin

Got the new chair assembled today, only needed the one allen key which came with it - the key is on the seat in the attached picture.

Nice and comfy too, might play around with the height and back 'tilt' a bit over the coming days but it feels great so far.

I'll recheck the tightness of the allen bolts over the next few days too because going on past experience with previous chairs they always need retightening after a while.

LED Gaming Chair, Computer Chair with RGB LED Lights, Video Game Chair

Would have fitted in better with all the colour changing LED stuff on my desk here.. lol.
