Why did Trump take the documents in the first place, what purpose would they serve....I am of the belief maybe Donald didn't know he couldn't keep anyhing he wanted when he left the White House....Once the documents were discovered at Mar A Lago Trump did as instructed and waited for the FBI to pick them up....No secrets were stolen or sold that I am aware of....I doubt anything much will come of this???

I disagree ... he'd been asked to return them multiple times, he and his lawyers returned some but not others. They were asked repeatedly if he had any more which he denied. The warrant to search the property came after the authorities received a tip off that Trump still had documents in Mar a lago he was denying existed.
