Is there a business with such a policy?

If so could you let us all know which business it is?

Groggy we BOTH know why YOU can't answer my question. As I'm a very fair person... I'll give you another opportunity to apologise to everyone for being such a dick.

Groggy is still hiding. Why am I not surprised. 😐

This "good samaritan" is simply manufacturing a scenario that wouldn't
have developed if she'd acted logically and appropriately.  She's obviously
an aggressive SJW who wants her 15 minutes of fame (thank you Andy).

A solution—assuming she genuinely wants to help a homeless bloke she
claims to know "personally" as a "friend" (which is bullshit, otherwise she'd
already be helping him out to find accommodation)?

So... she buys one cup of coffee, or whatever, and walks outside and gives
it to the bloke.     She then walks back in and buys herself a coffee.

Problem solved.  He gets his coffee, she gets hers, and an embarrassingly
unnecessary public scene is avoided.  All too simple.

I also find her belligerent attitude in the way she speaks to the kids behind
the counter inappropriate.  They're working for minimum wages (if that) and
shouldn't have to put up with this sort of harassment in their workplace.

At any rate, a cup of coffee ain't gonna help him find a home!

smacking hilarious. So far we've had virtue signaller, do-gooder and SJW.

What we need now is for someone to call her woke.

I know it's quite possibly beyond you but perhaps she was trying to draw attention to an injustice we should all, quite frankly, be horrified about?

Could that be it?

And seriously, why are you more offended by her than by it?

smacking check yourselves.

Simply because they don't want to "encourage" the homeless people near their shop.

NIMBY.

Capitalism. Once again bring you humanity's worst attributes in stereo.

how would you draw THAT conclusion.

republican governors of texas (abbott) and florida (de santis) have got homeless rates of less then 10 % the homeless rate of leftie woke democratic california.

clearly capitalism reduces homelessness and incompetant do-gooers in the leftie parties increase homelessness.

maybe if they spent more time building houses instead of virtue signalling about buying some pet homeless person a cup of coffee, they could make a dent in the problem.

leftie intellectuals.....farming poor people the way i farm cows.
what a disgrace they are

I saw on Facebook a website providing swags for the homeless- they cost around $120 to buy a swag for a homeless person and you could set up ongoing money to help these pple- it was wonderful I thought-

This was a real help to these pple- my brother was homeless for while while when he was alive- so you just never know who might need them! will post a link later!!

this is not THE  link but a link in facebook!

Angela Sheridan-Hunt Ash - what a weak, useless person. She should have told her homeless pal to claim to have arrived in the UK on an illegal boat from France.  He would be put up in a 4 star hotel for months, full board at taxpayers'money expense.  HE would be buying HER coffees.

Good one   Smiley

Going back about 15 or 20 years I used to visit Sydney quite regularly.

There were homeless people everywhere.

Every now and then, in the winter, I'd buy a sleeping bag for the guys sleeping on cardboard.

They were always very appreciative.

And yes, anyone could become homeless at any time.

"There but for the grace of God ..."

But the question still remains: Why would a business have a culture of not letting customers buy a coffee for homeless people?

That's right Groggy .... you CANNOT answer this question.

Why?

There IS NO SUCH ORGANISATION! An entire topic based on a lie! Have you thought about doing some volunteer work instead of wasting time finding 4 yr old articles and NOT providing the link which might expose you for the liar you are?

I'm asking for a few friends who post on OzPol.

Everybody deserves a place to call home

Red Cross believes that everyone deserves a home that is safe, secure and affordable.

In an average year, Red Cross helps 2,180 people to find housing, supports 1,360 people at risk of becoming homeless, and provides 43,400 meals to people experiencing hardship.
