Why would a business have a policy/culture of not letting customers buy a coffee for homeless people?

Is there a business with such a policy?

If so could you let us all know which business it is?

Groggy we BOTH know why YOU can't answer my question. As I'm a very fair person... I'll give you another opportunity to apologise to everyone for being such a dick.

Groggy is STILL hiding. Could it be because this topic is based on nothing but a fabricated lie?

That's right Groggy .... you CANNOT answer this question.

Why?

There IS NO SUCH ORGANISATION! An entire topic based on a lie! Have you thought about doing some volunteer work instead of wasting time finding 4 yr old articles and NOT providing the link which might expose you for the liar you are?

I'm asking for a few friends who post on OzPol.

Oh and Freediver himself knows what you did. He's seen the real article which is 4 years old and clearly states that NO SUCH ORGANISATION exists.

Wow, Larry talking to himself SEVEN layers deep!

Good drugs are they Larry? Not codeine I suppose?

You're totally off your trolley!

Anyway .... back to the topic!

Does ANYONE know of ANY organisation that has a policy of refusing people who wish to buy a coffee for a homeless person?

Groggy the habitual liar needs to know the name of that organisation ASAP because this entire sham of a topic depends on it!

SEVEN layers deep! Not even FD will be stupid enough to give you a board! You couldn’t keep your real estate board going, two strikes against you!

I saw on Facebook a website providing swags for the homeless- they cost around $120 to buy a swag for a homeless person and you could set up ongoing money to help these pple- it was wonderful I thought-

This was a real help to these pple- my brother was homeless for while while when he was alive- so you just never know who might need them! will post a link later!!

this is not THE  link but a link in facebook!

Good one   Smiley

Going back about 15 or 20 years I used to visit Sydney quite regularly.

There were homeless people everywhere.

Every now and then, in the winter, I'd buy a sleeping bag for the guys sleeping on cardboard.

They were always very appreciative.

And yes, anyone could become homeless at any time.

"There but for the grace of God ..."

But the question still remains: Why would a business have a culture of not letting customers buy a coffee for homeless people?

announcing your virtue

you havent read the gospel of matthew 6.2

“Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

Gweggy Tujd has only ever read and re-read, endlessly, the Gospel of the Performatively Aggrieved.   Mothra Theresa, Tut-tutsie Bbwian, Mustaphaken and the rest of them have been in the same reading (ahem!) circle for decades.
Every schoolboy knows that.

its so much easier to announce your virtue then take action.

greg says he helps in the kitchen at the nursing home.
OH and S would never allow that. he could be some creeper who puts ratsak in the food.

and he says he pulls sleeping bags out of his back pocket when he sees a homeless guy.

why cant he be honest like the big fella

For the life of me, I can't understand why these people hate the homeless.

It seems that they just hate everything that's different to themselves.

I'll continue to respect and help the homeless in whatever ways I can.

One simple thing to do is to just acknowledge their existence.

Instead of putting your head down and walking past as fast as you can, look them in the eye and say "good morning".

If they look distressed, ask them if they're okay.

Like I said, I'll never for the life of me understand how someone can hate another human being simply because they don't have somewhere to live.

A sad, sick, selfish society we're living in.

You shouldn't promote or support 'Begging' in the USA.
I bet that coffee shop now has fifty beggars hanging around the shop waiting for someone to buy them a coffee.

So is Monk. What's worse is that these two consciously know they are liars, habitual liars and try to deceive us as if we're all stupid to their efforts. Basically, these two aren't Bad Guys - they're actually quite Evil in their ways. Sinister little snots.

I doubt it.

Perhaps you missed the whole point of the thread.
