Quote:Muhammad fought (and won) against ALL 'infidels' in Arabia, including Jews.
On one occasion, a Jewish tribe of Medina surrendered to him unconditionally. He executed every adult male in the tribe. Some 800 of them, though being a Muslim he lost count. He determined which males were adults by inspecting their genitals.
Are you aware of Muhammad ever treating non-Jewish infidels the same way?
er...the losers in all battles are "executed" in one way or another.
There was no battle.
So....after previous battles in which Jews had shown themselves to be infidels, or when Jews had otherwise, if not in battle, shown themselves to be infidels.
Quote: And before you come back with some idiotic retort that some other battle occurred at some time in history, I am referring to the context of Muhammad slaughtering these Jews.
Of course you are, you are trying to say Muhammad singled out Jews for slaughter, but you keep forgetting Jews in Arabia had already proven to Muhhamad they were infidels.
Quote: They did not surrender to him after losing a battle. They surrendered to him unconditionally, without a battle.
No doubt because they failed to convince Muhammad of their conversion to 'the righteous path'....
Quote:BTW, what makes you think the losers in all battles were executed?
Not only "were" but "are" - as I said; quite a bit of it in Ukraine, even.
Quote:You cite "ONE occasion" when Muhammad slaughtered a Jewish tribe who surrended, but that doesn't change the fact he slaughtered ALL who refused the new Revelation, as the Jews obviously did, from past experiences gained by Muhammad in battle.
Also not true.
You won't (be able to) say why it is not true. Obviously in battle the slaughter continues, regardless of the combatants ethnicities/allegiances, until a victor is established.
Quote:Though Muhammad was more fond of slaughter than any other religious leader I can think of.
You are forgetting Joshua (et al) who proudly proclaimed:
"we killed everything that breathed, as commanded by the Lord God of Israel". (Joshua 10,40).
Same motivation in either case.
