More silliness. I've explained it all earlier in the thread.

FD thinks his silliness will win an argument as I pointed out in this exchange:

FD: Is that supposed to be a response to my question?

TGD:You prefer to view the question through your own fundamentalist prism, based on your determination there is/can be no such thing as Muslim moderation of the type  which would enable acceptance of Israel's right to exist.

But Mahmoud Abbas is begging the UN to establish Palestine along UN Res. 181 and 242 lines.

Arabs are hot-heads. They could have been part of Israel

Yet another who hasn't been following the thread. I've already explained how the religious right will never allow a two-state solution, and that they would always be third-class citizens in Israel.

Defending their property on which they'd lived for generations is not going 'berserk'.

Repetition of a lie won't make it true. You should stop calling it that.

Quote:
Arab Muslims in Israel have more rights and more say in their own government than in any of the neighbouring countries.

Even if that were true, and I've shown it isn't,

How have you shown that it is not true? If you think I have misunderstood you, feel free to explain.

There you go again, ignoring the evidence I've presented, like in Reply #882.

I'm not ignoring it. I'm asking you to reveal it. But all you do is run away or change the subject. Or sort of admit you were lying but cough up some pissweak excuse for your lies.

"Israel is a beacon of democracy in the ME"....
except the current democratic protests are threat to regional  peace: news reports.

Democratic dysfunction on full display again...

(and before you are tempted to go there, Mao died half a century ago, whereas this democraic dysfunction is now).

Only a little pink would assume that a protest demonstrates dysfunction. I suppose you think a 'healthy' system runs down protestors with tanks?

A protest threatening a corrupt PM who is fighting to stay out of the  Supreme Court, and underming regional security (according to protesting military officers) ?

Bingo!..... over 3 decades ago when China had a smaller economy than Oz, with 50% of the population still living  in absolute poverty, whereas today everyone including the poor  has enjoyed the fastest eradication of absolute poverty in history.

Much to praise, in a benevolent ("common prosperity")  authoritarian meritocracy.

That's why even Putin has attracted African leaders to a St.Petersburg meeting - the West plundered and then abandoned Africa.  The correct dose of  Singaporean authoritarianism is required.

Meanwhile the end results of the Israeli protests remain to be seen; and imagine the global impact if Trumpy makes it back to the WH.....ah .."democracy"....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protest_and_dissent_in_China

The number of annual protests has grown steadily since the early 1990s, from approximately 8,700 "mass group incidents" in 1993[1] to over 87,000 in 2005.

Protesters and dissidents in China espouse a wide variety of grievances, including corruption, forced evictions, unpaid wages, human rights abuses, environmental degradation, ethnic protests, petitioning for religious freedom and civil liberties, protests against one-party rule, as well as nationalist protests against foreign countries.

And Israel? One commentator today spoke of a constitutional crisis:

"The crisis is rooted in the same unanswered questions about fundamental rights and governance that prevented Israel's founders from formalizing such a document. In many democracies, a constitution codifies the structure of government and its fundamental legal principles".12 July 2023

It must be difficult when you have to think for yourself instead of just doing what you are told. I understand freed slaves often felt the same way.

Tell us more about the "the same unanswered questions about fundamental rights and governance that prevented Israel's founders from formalizing such a document."

Com'on - try thinking for yourself.

Meanwhile, in Islamic debating and protesting news:

At least 44 people were killed and more than 100 others wounded Sunday by a suicide bombing at a political gathering of a leading Islamic party in northwest Pakistan, officials said.

"My story"?

"Israel has no written constitution. Various attempts to draft the formal document since 1948 have fallen short of the mark, and instead Israel has evolved a system of basic laws and rights, which enjoy semi-constitutional status".

Hmm.. seems the "Chosen People"  occupying "God's Promised Land" couldn't agree on a constitution....
