You admit to trolling other uses with race-baiting headlines. Meanwhile, other posters post up controversial topics about celebrity news and news in general, irrespective to the racial background of those involved. Some go one way with their views. Others go another. Race does not come into the equation of the debate. But, when you post up topics about indigenous Australians getting special preferential treatment, you do it to provoke people into talking about the unfairness of such an issue, just for the benefit of trying to make it about race.

Are you not a little ashamed?

I am that Australians would treat one another so unfairly, Rocky.  To the Racists, it is all about "Race".  To me, it should be about circumstances but to argue that with the Racists is pointless.  Much easier to have them condemn themselves out of their own mouths/fingertips.  Are you proud to attack your fellow Australians on the basis of "race"?   Really?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Boring and of course, Racist, Matty.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

If you sat in a courtroom watching indigenous teens mouthing off to a respectable magistrate, you would understand the lack of morals indigenous people who commit crimes have. My town has a car theft problem caused by people who are almost always indigenous. And when you hear about how the courts let the thieves off lightly with sentencing, you know that the indigenous people have developed no respect for the law.

You seem to think the only way to teach respect is with a rod, harsh sentencing.  When Whites start to close the gaps and start to see things from the viewpoint of Indigenous Australians, we might see an improvement in their attitude. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

For hundreds of years, we have seen "whites" getting harsh sentencing and corporal punishment for minor offences. Despite the blatant oppression by authorities, "whites" have managed to put together a first-world society enviable by other cultures.

For the past 50 years, or 55 years (if you want to start from indigenous suffrage), whites have been trying to close the gap between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians. Even if you want to round down the number of years for this "closing the gap" to the last 30 years, that is still a good generational timespan that should have ended any socioeconomic issues regarding the racially discriminatory period indigenous people had to endure prior to the 1970s.

I had indigenous people that lived near me that grew up in poverty. Their late teens and early twenties were a time when they turned their lives into respectable middle-income people. One boy grew up to be a labourer. His sister worked in a local government department. In the meantime, we had direct neighbours who were just as indigenous as the first family. These neighbours did not work. Did nothing of value to society. Drink and swear their heads off and abuse their child. If I had that attitude, I would be cut off socially and financially. But, somehow, the family survived for their situation.

I came home from a 3.5-hour shift last night, showered, and went to bed. Yet, I felt I did more in that one night than the lazy bastards do in a fortnight. It is all about changing your attitude. The only people holding back indigenous people from prospering is themselves. I do not see how indigenous people stealing cars, driving them around dangerously, and then torching the cars are going to progress one demographic at all.

Brian, I have a problem with people who use their race, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic background, disability/impairment, etc., to get away with criminal activity. When you cannot bring yourself to condemning indigenous criminal activity, I cannot find you impartial to the social problems we endure.

Who says I do not condemn it, Rocky?  Who says I approve it?  You are reading far more than what I type.  Stop erecting strawman arguments.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Why should he?

You've got as much guts as a strawman - you need all the help & stuffing you can get.

Are you a victim of your circumstances, Bbwian?  Or have you had ANY hand in shaping your own life?

You are a completely dishonest, full of shyte bad faith ijit by pretending that you are a voice for fairness. You are nothing of the sort. You are absolutely not interested in Aborigines. You are ONLY interested in people who call out Aboriginal delinquency, lack of responsibility, violence, chancey opportunism etc. You have ZERO interest in Aborigenes and total and exclusive interest in people who call out Aborigines for fuqqing up their own lives and those around them.

You have no suggestions for solutions, you have no ability to articulate ideas about ANYTHING. You are only interested in calling people racists... and ... er... that is it. You are only ever pipe up to call others racists. Nothing else. Yawns, tut-tuit - and calling others racist. You cannot ever think, only call others racist.
Next breath, you'll argue that there is no such thing as race.

You are a half-wit, with the witless half full of shite, Bbwian. A dishonest, smug, lying shite. You are off the dishonesty scale. Alas, you are not alone.
