If people want to work on a public holiday then that's entirely up to them. No need to bring the anti-Australian politics of the woke bedwetters  into it.

Why are you speaking English?

I am British - Australia is British. Royal Australian Navy - Royal Australian Air Force. British Parliament, British Law, Cricket, etc etc etc

Perhaps you would be more comfortable in China where they have none of those things you hate so much.

The Political elite told us we wanted to be a Republic - and the referendum said No. The political elite told us we hate the Royals and then the Queen dies - and the Australians grieved.

The political Elite tell us all kinds of crap - that only fools like you believe.

If they're not prepared to respect our culture and celebrate the day Australia first became a nation - they can all simply be deported.

Told yez I was looking forward to the stoush that would begin... all the usual whiners who get such great advantage out of Australia... Papadopoulos - parents came here to attain prosperity and a better life... Albanese... all the rest with names full of vowels who couldn't wait to get out of their family's historical impoverished violence-ridden turd factory and find a better life... now they want to sh
i
t all over it.

Told you this concept of divide and conquer was installed by politicians via oddball immigration and so forth until the common Australian type has lost all political power and is prey to every whiner that comes along with a name full of vowels....

Explain how wanting to change a symbolic date makes someone anti-Australian....The debate comes up every Jan 26, it won't go away because of your right wing leanings....Put forward a valid argument against changing the date instead of arguing irellivant bullshit???

Australia Day - pretty simple..... you want to change it, do so from your Old Country and leave us in peace...

There is no need to put forward ANY argument against changing the date - there is no argument for changing the date.

... and if people don't care what day it's on - all these late-comers who know nothing about Australia but want to own and run it for us - there is no point in even discussing changing it...

All national days should be banned here - no day off for anyone from any Outlander nation any more...

What utter rubbish - most Australians do not want to change it...

Anyway - looks like we'll have to enforce a three generations before you can stand for public office rule .... all these blow-ins just want to change things for any silly reason... primarily their own ethnic characteristic of the engine is running hard but the clutch is gone in the mind...

Been warning yez for ages about the true import of immigration (lack of) policy and its long term aim.... to re educe the personal power and earning capacity of the Australian voter and thus give governments and their offices a free run to do as they choose... politics of division and exclusion, up to and including that direct assault called 'affirmative action'.

Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin

You can always pack your bags and leave, kid.....most people are not running around demanding that everything be changed to suit them .... they're just getting on with it... so it's clear the only racists here are those pushing for changes to everything on the base of their colour or ethnic group.

How about a valid argument as to why it should be changed? But there isn't one, is there?

The main Argument is that having the date celebrate the day the first nations people were colonized and Australia was declared British land....This does not sit well with many Australian's who have no link too British ancesstory....Why not change the date so all Australian's can celebrate if they wish....Patriotism is bullshit anyway IMO???

Here are some reasons if you actually give a crap???
