"Australia was declared British land....This does not sit well with many Australian's who have no link too British ancesstory..."

They can always pack their bags .... no problem..... if they don't like what they fled to from their turd factory, they can lump it... not our problem ....

Most of us here have no link to their ancestry, either - and we're not going to change our ways to suit them ... any time you feel like immigrating to some country and starting to demand that they ditch their national day, feel free.... in most you'd be deported, or imprisoned or shot....or locked in a mental asylum ...

Now then - about that need to change our immigration policies.....

It's not up to you you deluded old fool....In Australia we are allowed to debate issues and accept other people's point of view when they have a valid argument....Your white supremist views prevent you from being objective....Piss off back to mother England if you like it so much!!!

Still plenty of time to find a new country that you can love.  If you're not advocating for it, why are you posting all those things and arguing to change it?  Are you awake in there?

Once more - for the deluded you - head off to some new country and tell them you want their national day changed.... see how you go.

You really are off the planet - you've presented no facts - you've presented emotional monologues designed by idiots to suit an agenda with no idea.

Love it or leave it.... the flags will be out on AUSTRALIA Day and if you don't want to be part of it - pack your bags.

Racially superior?  I'm not the one demanding change .......... it's the Abos and all the WOGs with their strange ways and demented ideas of what their office here gives them ... when I get around demanding changes from them I'll let you know.

Christ you're stupid.... utterly laughable.

Your kind of idiot - the post-Boomers fed on soft soap and bullshit - are the dopiest problem this country faces at this time with all your silliness... you wouldn't even begin to understand equal treatment and reality... this song was written in the 1930's by an avowed Communist....depends on your kind of Communist, eh, as opposed to your kind of petty backyard Fascist who thinks he can just bully everyone into taking whatever you want to hand out.

You lost, boy ........... as parents of your generation we did society a terrible dis-service by making things too easy for you......

Explain how wanting to change a symbolic date makes someone anti-Australian....The debate comes up every Jan 26, it won't go away because of your right wing leanings....Put forward a valid argument against changing the date instead of arguing irellivant bullshit???

How about a valid argument as to why it should be changed? But there isn't one, is there?

The main Argument is that having the date celebrate the day the first nations people were colonized and Australia was declared British land....This does not sit well with many Australian's who have no link too British ancesstory....Why not change the date so all Australian's can celebrate if they wish....Patriotism is bullshit anyway IMO???

All the references you cited boil down to one thing. A pack of recent arrivals are annoyed that Australians of Anglo-Celtic ancestry founded this nation and made it one of the best places in the world to live and so want to remove any references to their achievements. The have co-opted the professional Aboriginals who care nothing for their own disadvantaged people to help them with this.

Not quite Belgarion.  I am an Australian of Anglo-Celtic origins and I would like the date change.  Let NSW celebrate the 26th of January.  It is the date of their establishment as a colony.  The rest of Australia has traditionally celebrated "Australia Day" on dates they felt were more appropriate to them.  I would prefer 1 January as the date that Australia was created.    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Of course not!  You just posted the absurd lie that most Australians want to change the date, trotted out a few ridiculous links to self-interested persons and groups, and demanded reasons why it shouldn't be changed.

That's not advocating for anything, phil... sure... sure... we all believe you...

Christ you're thick.  Nice to see you on the back foot now and desperately defending...  ooooh - I didn't say that... no.. no... I didn't lay about me at anyone who said it was a silly idea and requested a valid reason for changing it  (there are none) ... true story!!

That's not advocating anything..... just building my stupid self an opportunity to call other people names for treating a silly idea with contempt and expecting fair and equal treatment all round for everyone just like with the national parks (non) issue - respect our culture or piss off!!  YOU and your kind are the racists and the problem...

So now it's 'some people' and not 'most'... well, well, well.... keep back pedaling, sonny and you'll soon be in South Africa where you can tell them to change their national day ....

Why is changing a date so important to Fascist extremists intent on ruling the roost with their silly ideas?

You are clearly mad, son... seeing everyone who just says NO to your outrage a 'right wing extremist'... clearly insane.  It's you and your WOG and Abo mates kicking up a stink about changing a date for no reason who are the dickheads...mate.  Nobody else would say a word if you didn't start it every year over and over with the same bullshit... so YOU are the right wing extremist Fascist scumbags here... and you should all be on the next boat out...

Now f
u
ck off and find a life somewhere valuable, you moron.... say ... Iran where you can tell them to change their national day or else...

It's symbolic mate....Some people believe the date does not represent all Australian's and they have a valid argument....I don't give a toss and only care about the public holiday to drink some beer and play some pool with my mates....The argument won't go away because some red necks oppose it for some reason....Why do you want to celebrate the POMS bringing their convicts here???

Well ..... it's symbolic mate........... and a few imports and malcontents do not represent all Australians who are happy to have a National Day for whatever reason... symbolic of the nation being here and having the fine values it does that enable all those blow-ins and malcontents to even get up and make their silly demands over nothing...

Australia Day won't go away because some sallownecks oppose it for some reason(s)..... nothing to do with the poms - everything to do with this nation being here same as every other nation has its national day....

Love it or leave it........ and never forget that the racists here are those who are demanding changes just to suit their tiny minds and tiny groups.... any blow-ins who don't like it here are welcome to piss off any time they want.... all those who speak up about this stupidity year after year are doing very well out of this country, so they can stick it.

Like I said....I informed the debate I do not advocate any particular position....Why anyone accept those who believe the date doesn't represent them gives a toss is vauge....There Argument seems to be if you want to change the date you are un-Australian and those that believe they are not represented can go back to where they came from....It is symbolic bullshit anyway which has no significance accept pumped up patriotism and an excuse for a piss up!!!
