The same, Lisa, the same to everybody.  The New Year has loads of promise.  Even perhaps the Indigenous Voice will be voted in.  Who knows?   Cool Cool

safety will be the new catch cry of this century.

as people become ever more isolated and driven by ego its an easy message to sell to the unthinking masses.

they will live their lives with the following aim.

to safely make it through childhood
then to safely make it through the teenage years
then they will try to safely make it through their working lives to retirement
then they will aim to safely make it to old age
then they will go to a nursing home where the objective will be 'not to die'

to a thinking person.
its a comical way to live.

sorry, not live, its a comical way to exist  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Why would anyone want to go anywhere NYE with all the cancelled flights and delays at airports!
Maddest time to travel… best to wait until 2nd week after NYD! Everyone should be sober by then.

I’m not optimistic or hopeful as in past wishing a happy new year…
Every time there’s some crap happening soon after NYD like the Ukraine war for instance!
The media love negativity to bring into your lives in the very lounge room you seek solace in.

So rather than wishing everyone a happy new year (too much pressure to be happy) I wish for less bad news and with lots of peace time for recovering between stress phases of life.

You just couldn't help yourself hey Ross!

Anyway I hope it doesn't go ahead. I think it will be nothing but divisive and a waste of money <--- money which Australia does NOT have atm. Our Aged Care AND Health systems (which cover ALL people within Australia) have been NEGLECTED AND ABANDONED by Albo. Contrary to Albo's election promises these 2 sectors lost out in the most recent budget. And that showed me Liebor's true colours. That was the litmus test (and also why I can't stand the current Liebor govt and why I pray they get voted out ASAP).

Anyway .... back to the topic: I hope AND PRAY that even ardent multi troll atheists like YOU Ross will have a happy and safe 2023. 😎

Oh, dearie, dearie, me, Lisa, you really do have a problem, don't you?  Where is your proof that I have multiple logins?  I have challenged you quite a while ago and you said you would approach Freediver and discover the truth of what you claim.  What happened, Lisa?  Were you ignored and treated with contempt by Freediver?  So, you going to apologise for your bullshit claim or are we going to have to put you in your place?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I'll be spending mine at my favourite place on Earth
With my BF - and our three dogs - on the front deck of our "Little House in the Woods"
- inside 20 acres of eucalypt forest, in the Victorian High Country
May have a few other local dudes drop by
- to make some "fireworks" around midnight

Not that there's anything wrong with it.

Dinner done, watched the 9pm crackers and had to deal with the unwashed scrum of humanity.

I'm actually in bed but can see the fireworks from our room
