I agree....in 6 months the Left will be so apoplectic they wont ever be able to see straight again ....IMHO in the end McCarthy will win....eventually.....but not a moment before he makes all the concessions the Conservative Right demands....way more than McCarthy has ever envisioned on having to support.......so far so very good.....

In the mean time, the Socialist demon-RAT Left gets weaker, & weaker because all the necessary movement will have to be further to the Right....especially on progressive/socialist domestic spending levels/programs, & other budgetary matters that will require even deeper cuts to existing domestic spending in order to move even the most moderate of their policy legislation....

That all said.....McCarthy just won the Speakership......

McCarthy was always going to win....it was only a question of when would the Conservatives let him taste victory.

They obviously got more than they wanted from him.
