There's a great doco on Netflix titles "Greta" about her early activism and personal life. Her parents are wonderful, nurturing and hugely supportive.

Greta deep dived into the issue of climate change all of her own volition and as is often the way with people with Autism, she become uni-focused and intensely interested, leading her to become hugely informed.

Her parenting and Autism are only ever used as weapons against her by the extremely ignorant ... and generally particularly nasty. Usually sexist also, not that that needs saying. There are a particular group of people who highly resent being corrected by a girl or young woman.

And what's more. She is dead right to be highly focussed on this issue. She's not making anything up. She's saying what the world's scientists are saying. This is the world she's inherited from the people deriding her so vehemently, who will be dead when the worst of it happens.

We all agree on price gougers - we don't all agree on the possible alternative - most of us require a properly regulated free market economy and a mix of public and private since we all know now that 'private' does NOT offer the claimed results but only higher and higher costs to the end use for profit - the one that worked so well until governments abandoned it in favour of social engineering and perpetual social and economic disruption of the 'masses' in order to establish hegemony over those 'masses'...
