Greta was a very mentally unwell child who amongst other things had obsessive behavour and was showing some very harmful behavours. When she became obsessed with climate change no doubt her parents encouraged that to give her a distraction from the dark hole she was sinking into.

She was used as a political stalking horse and a shield and anyone who dared to critique  anything she said was howled down for picking on a child.

Yes climate change is real but we're not doomed and the people who catastrophise it are showing all the behavours of religious loonies who think the rapture is coming.
