Best to just nuke Alice.
Just to be sure.

What about a curfew and shoot on sight laws?

The joke going around is that Tarrant picked the wrong country and group.

Now - the warning is on, people.... any of you pricks alter that to something it was not, and your ball sac will be split while you are staked on top of a Jumping  Jack bull ant nest, and the crows or the ants will get them for feed.... you WILL be crucified if you alter that, as Rumdon did to a post I made a while ago.... NEVER TOUCH THE CROSSES!

I warn you fairly....

Yeah, yeah, whatever, Matty...  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

You live well away from indigenous townships, I bet.

In Rockhampton, if an indigenous person gets hurt in any way, there is usually a bunch of phone calls made and you will find groups and groups of indigenous people coming into town to harass and hurt the locals at their choosing. The police usually get overwhelmed by the amount of trouble for the week. Then, when the indigenous are satisfied that they have gotten even (and then some), they will disperse back to their housing commissions.

Mum and Dad live down the road from an aboriginal housing commission home. Funded by drug money and the taxpayer, you should hear the fights that go on down there. I was around at my parents the other night and the screaming from the house down the way was enough to warrant a police patrol. But, Dad said that the screaming was so common that it was not worth the phone call.

And here you are "tsk tsk"-ing someone for pointing out a problem. So, either you are profiting off the problems indigenous people cause, or you are so absent from their fights and antisocial behaviour that you have no clue about what goes on in large groups of indigenous communities.

He's only here to antagonise others.
Just ignore the twat.

Actually, I am here to question why, Matty continually posts bad news about Indigenous Australians and belittles anybody who posts good news about them.  As he never suggests a solution to the problem he outlines, I am forced to assume he is here to just, "stir the pot," and little else.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The space may be different but the activity is the same.... just insert Kaffrica for Africa.... the bad news comes from those there doing the deeds:-

Voldemort called when he got the word
And he said, "I suppose you've heard 'bout Alice"
So Albo rushed to the window and he looked outside
And he could hardly believe his eyes
As the big black gangs rode up Alice's drives …............
Oh, I know why people's leaving, dunno where they're gonna go
I know they've got their reasons, and you really oughta know
'Cause 24 times they've had broken down doors in  Alice
24 times breaking into business
Then into the homes to finish off the missus
Now they've gotta get used to living with crime in Alice ….........
They spewed up together, pissed in the park
Didn't even wait until it got dark  … in Alice
Now they kick down the door with no reason why
And never catch a bullet above the eye
As the big black gangs slowly take over the  Alice ….............
Oh, I know why people's leaving, dunno where they're gonna go
I know they've got their reasons, and you really oughta know
'Cause 24 times they've had broken down doors in  Alice
24 times breaking into business
Then into all the homes to finish off the missus
Now they've gotta get used to living with crime in Alice ….......
Albo called in, and asked how they felt
He said, "I know how to help, get over Alice"
He said, "Alice is gone, but I'm still here
You know I've been waiting 24 years"
And the bloody PM disappeared from Alice...
Oh, I know why people's leaving, dunno where they're gonna go
I know they've got their reasons, and you really oughta know
'Cause 24 times they've had broken down doors in  Alice
24 times breaking into business
Then into the homes to finish off the missus
Now they've gotta get used to living with crime in Alice ….
Though they'll never get used to living with crime in Alice

Ah - so they are forced into welfare dependency now?  Who'd 've thunk that?  They can't pack up their tents and travel to find work, get an education, go learn a trade or something?

Sounds to me like it's more the culture coming out... they don't want to do those things - as the 'chief minister' up there even alluded to in saying that the communities themselves had to co-operate in saving themselves...

She needs to go further - and do what Albo said at the start when he was spruiking up some 'voice' - and say that any such things needed to be based on key performance indicators of advances within those communities - a position quietly dropped once he actually got the hot seat and never mentioned since.

No KPIs - no money!!  And No Voice until you prove yourselves responsible citizens.

In other words - No Voice Ever!!

Typical comment coming from a complete lack of understanding of the circumstances of welfare-dependent people living in the town camps around Alice Springs.

Access to education requires access to clean, safe housing.

Waffle. People need access to safe, clean housing, education and jobs, which don't exist in the town camps around the Alice. Co-operation with a dysfunctional economic system which itself is a cause of the welfare dependency is pointless.

You can't have 'performance indicators' in 4th world camps, without creating the jobs and decent housing first.

People can't report on KPIs when they are living in 4th world conditions.

Better yet: no welfare dependency, ever.

Where can Alice go now going forward, alcohol bans have just been put in place there but Albo now needs to go to Wadeye and Tennant Creek etc to look at the broader issue, issues such as Abbos being allowed to live out in the bush and not work.

Alice is doomed, nothing can be done for that hellhole now.

Not quoting properly, FD... what gives?

Albo flitted in and out just to show his face after Voldemort shamed him.... weak as piss.  Should have gone on to Wadey and Darwin and really got a close look at things....  like I said - weak as piss.

First stop - booze wasn't cut off completely - should have been back to the ban... then the arrest and detention of all crime doers.... hold them until a court sorts them out. Send in reinforcements as required.... all these politicians up there are as weak as piss.  Look at that dopey sheila crying to preserve her 'state' sovereignty from Federal intervention while Rome burns... chicken poo coward lose with nothing to lose in her ivory tower.

Where is Mad Mike Hoare when you need him?

There must be a reason for that - what are they hoping to gain?  Surely not a vote for any voice through fear?  Anyone who gave such a thing after all this would be clearly insane and should be ineligible to vote.  Imagine if this was in Texas or Arizona or similar with different gun laws.... there'd be no trouble by now at all.... all quiet on that western front...

Footnote:-  Have to go into town tomorrow - get a chance to see what that 'embassy' gets up to...

Apparently not, i heard on my VHF the locals know who the trouble makers are and if Albo doesn't fix the problem they will, they are calling for reinforcements.
