He's just challenging the system that says "For the People" by coming from 'the people' outside the system.
But the truth is, that Politics in the Northern Hemisphere is not for 'the people' - it's only for the people in the Political system.

When the people of the UK voted NO to Brexit. Theresa May resigned in frustration, because the British Establishment basically ignored the people and Exited the EU anyway.

Doesn't matter if it's Capitalism, Socialism, Communism, etc - any Political entity in the Northern Hemisphere rules only for itself and everything and everyone else must adhere to its demands.

...in the Southern Hemisphere though, its a different matter - as Australia will discover one day.
