Looking at the daily weather observation data from the Bureau of Meteorology, Rockhampton had its last 40 degree celsius day on the 3rd of March, last year (2022). So, it is coming up to a year without a 40°C day for us here, too. It has been a mild summer for us. I wish it would rain more, though.

Rockhampton is apparently a hole 🕳

Just a reminder that I’ve changed the title by eliminating the location. So THAT problem is solved.

I was reading this very topic last night and it got me thinking.

This morning I remembered that I had read a rather interesting article.

Take a look at this 👇

Even the worst areas of Rockhampton are better than the best areas of Western Sydney.

Well RockBrain...you do know I live in Sydney (the most expensive city in Australia) yeah? Well where I live you yourself can easily live too! All you need is this: $2.5 million (properties are a tad 👇 you see that’s why it’s only $2.5 million) to grab a property here where I live. But be careful : you will be buying a knock down job on a small block. It will be about 20 minutes from the CBD and 2 minutes to the water. But you won’t be able to live in such a house. You will need to knock it down and start again. To build will set you back another $1.3 million MINIMUM because our homes are built on solid ROCK which means a lot of yellow Tonka Truck diggers plus inflation and global recession plus cost of fuel etc. So come on RockBrain ... why don’t you sell your Rockhampton bit of real estate and with $3.8 million you too could come and live nearby. Idiot!

I certainly farkkking hope so! Let’s take a close look at Western Sydney. Well for starters it’s a rubbish dump. Sydney’s rubbish dump is there - quite literally. The westies who live there are residents who can’t afford to live in Sydney proper. Their cheap n quick shoddy and dodgy real estate is pretty much worthless and many are facing mortgage prison (not just mortgage stress). Some are currently sitting in negative equity positions and are facing bankruptcy.

But it gets better! Some parts of Western Sydney are in fact SINKING! Literally SINKING because they were built cheaply and quickly on ex rubbish tips/poor soil. Entire streets of homes are suffering serious structural damage (as they’re built of cardboard plus cheap bricks it’s not too hard I guess) and families can’t get property insurance.

Guess what these families CANNOT do? They can’t sell because their properties aren’t even worth the cheap land they’re built on NOR can any prospective speculator come in and rescue them (and their mortgagee) either! Why? Because no insurance company in Australia will insure the bloody property!

So RockBrain you had better hope to God your dumbarse little bit of property there in Rockhampton IS better than Western Sydney! You really are a clueless and uneducated moron!

My "dumbarse little bit of property"? Oh right. My 40 x 20 metre yard. With a 1960s era high-set house taking up the front third of the yard. Valued at $220,000. Good neighbourhood. Access to shopping centres within 2km.

Larry living in Sydney with its overpriced houses and natives inspiring shows like "Housos". I think Larry living where he lives makes him the "uneducated moron" of Ozpol.

That’s right ...your dumbarse little bit of property that’s worth SFA!

220K? Was that a typo?

In any event if you’re talking 220K then your property (not yours of course but your parents because of course I just remembered you’re pushing 50 and still living rent free/bludging off them) well if you had the legal right to sell that property and come away with 220K then that will definitely buy you a garage or a parking space here in Sydney.

I’ve got no idea what it will buy you in Western Sydney...most probably a big muddy puddle that’s sinking I suppose.

Edit : If living in a car space or a muddy puddle doesn’t appeal much to you ... you could always move to Tasmania with Dumbarse Drunk. The properties there are super cheap. Around 220K actually! You’ll have Dumbarse Drunk to get drunk with every day and plenty of penguins. For pets (not food) 😐

Larry doesn’t know what property in Western Sydney sells for because he rents his Housing Commission flat.

Actually RockBrain- why don’t you go live with Dumbarse Drunk? You 2 have so much in common. You both have a history of bludging off parents, you both  have serious mental health issues, you only talk shyte, you drink to excess and live in squalor. You’d make a great couple actually 😂🤣😆
