I actually forgot it’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow… I was wondering as we drove to specialist follow up appointment for hubby… why so many signs “Flowers ahead” 
Oh yeah now I know why!
It’s a pain coz hubby had his birthday last week… mine is in 2 weeks time… and actually no we don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day… we’ve become that way to even say to family not to worry about cards or presents for our birthdays… their presence is more important and having a meal together… usually bringing a cake… which is preferred…
Throughout the year I randomly buy stuff as we see them… like before Xmas I bought a dvd set of Big Bang Theory and original Star Trek series for hubby.
I’ve got beautiful pink roses blooming near the pathway to entry… I will pick them tomorrow and put in vase 

What I find quite fascinating is this : only females have responded in this topic 😂🤣😆


Anyway, I’ve got THE CARD for Valentine’s Day 2023. It’s beautiful of course and it will join ALL the cards he’s EVER given me.

• I have a special time-capsule/box. In it I’ve carefully placed all the cards my husband has given me (not just Valentine’s Day/birthday/Mother’s Day/Christmas Day). It sits right next to another box in the cupboard (that one has all our receipts for tax time). These 2 boxes are not small and are made out of thick decorative cardboard.

Both these boxes are very dear to me because they serve as visual prompts of how our relationship has moved forward in terms of finance AND love/care/respect.

We’ve come a long way.

Have a lovely Valentine’s Day everyone. Celebrate it your way! And remember there’s no need to go silly and buy something super expensive - just a little something even if it’s hand made like a note or a card is enough really.

Edit : Some of my neighbours will once again show off seriously expensive jewellery which they never wear. If that makes them happy then I’m happy for them. Jewellery unfortunately just isn’t my thing. I have enough of it already and as an avid gardener/chronic cleaner lol I never wear jewellery unless I go out.i

Yes happy valentines day to the ladies in this forum but not to that tranny called Mothra.

I never buy flowers all i get is suspicious looks and "what have you done?'

I don’t like any female contributors left out… everyone has their value on this forum (and feelings)

On a positive…I’d like to wish Mothra (and others fems whose forum names may not give out clues as to gender) a happy Valentine’s Day 
And to the guys too…. happy Valentine’s Day.

Today…. I had a couple female friends visit… as we went outside to say bye… there’s my beautiful pink rose plant with a beautiful scent near walkway with an abundance of roses blooming… in fact never seen so many on it like that before…
I clipped off a few roses with stems, and gave it to the ladies… they loved it…
It doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day to make someone happy with flowers.
