Well the Physicists say that the Universe is FLAT.
So it's a matter of perspective, especially where you are standing at the time.
In the case of Columbus arguing his cause with the Church, he was standing on a flat stone floor map of the known world at the time.

An Astronomer would tell you that the Earth is NOT the center of the universe and they would be right.
A Religious person may tell you that the Earth IS the center of OUR universe and they too would be right.

There is always more than just 'one' right answer.

Maybe Sir Last Nail is also right, along with others that see differently?
