Our every day dinner set is RD, mainly because it's actually hard wearing.

Hmmm I don’t think Gordo the Greasy Slug has given us a photo of an old, chipped enamel mug with overly-expensive coffee in it?

I trust you, but how did such treasure find it's way to an old gay drunk man?
A recent inheritance, maybe?

Looks boring to me but this is what is said about it:

https://www.wedgwood.com/en-us/collections/prestige/astbury-black?showAll=true#a...

Quote:
Astbury Black
The timeless Black Astbury is an iconic Wedgwood pattern that first appeared in the early 20th Century. Characterised by an opulent motif, hand-decorated with raised paste gilding and 22 carat gold detailing, each plate can take up to 10 hours to complete.

Sounds like something for wankers to get excited about.

Either via his late Mother or he picked up bargains from Op shops.

Op shops often have very valuable stuff and the halfwits working there don't know it.
It's from deceased estates and no one bothers to check it properly.
People can even buy something for $10 then sell it on eBay for $500 or more.

I broke my fast with a bowl of mac and cheese. I have since learned that the macaroni is boiled for 4 minutes on high power in the microwave. Then you add the cheese for boiling another 2 minutes.

Too good for Op shops are you?
You didn't have 2 cents to rub together until your recent inheritance.

I like Op shops.
In my last house I needed a wooden table and chairs.
Most of the new ones were made of cheap particle board rubbish
and cost too much money.
I got this table & chairs from an Op shop in a high class suburb at a great price.
It's solid wood - not laminated.
