I broke my fast with a bowl of mac and cheese. I have since learned that the macaroni is boiled for 4 minutes on high power in the microwave. Then you add the cheese for boiling another 2 minutes.

Throw the microwave out and use the cooktop and oven. Will get much more nutrition from your food!

Very 1970's Bobby.

The wood is perfect.

Solid thick wood not slabs of particle board like the IKEA rubbish they sell now.

I hate particle board too.

Me I prefer plywood over a timber frame.

Real wood has a charm and polish no particle crap can come near.

The rubbish tips are full of IKEA stuff that people have thrown out after less than 2 years
because it fell to pieces.
Cheap vinyl stick on fake wood covering that peels off.
Particle board that soaks up water till it looks like Weet-bix.   Grin

This is a bedside table from IKEA - it is real wood. Just happens to be the right size for a 19 inch rack box. Just screw on the rack rails. (I added handles) and mount the equipment you want.

This is a focusrite Scarlett 18/20. (18 input audio interface). A bit long in the tooth now. A few Mic's but none of the good ones.

Are there slots made with a router to join the wood together?

Bobby's table looks much like the table I grew up using at my folk's place. The ends of the table could have end extensions that could be pulled out from under the table and pushed into place. I still remember my parents trying to instill table etiquette in us children asking "May I leave the table?" before we finished our meals.

The microwave I have will be replaced soon. Either at my own expense or the landlady's. But, if I want a quick meal, using the microwave is the way to cook up a quick mac and cheese.

Yeah, can get sushi anywhere these days!

A few Japanese people could see the demographic crash coming and migrated. Result—sushi sushi sushi everywhere. Great!
