Well as you can see, the Trolls are off in other Topics trying to pretend nothing happened here, doing exactly what they did here.

It’s nothing new with Methra. I took a few seconds to realise exactly how pathetic this topic was. The EXCUSES Methra made for this revolting and now reported fraud should be a warning to all. And it should be enough of a clue as to how unhinged, vile and repulsive Methra is.

Anybody want to discuss the housing crisis?

The article is a lie.
Yes there is a housing crisis but they've framed it around someone who NOBODY would or should rent to.
Why did the ABC  lie?

The ABC didn't lie.

The fact is you are over-focussing on the individual at the expense of the issue.

Why? Because you;re just that small-minded.

Nasty, gossipy, deflecting and small-minded.

They used the worst possible example of someone looking for a rental.
Zero work history.  5 dogs, hiv+.

It's no different to doing a story about if John Smith applied for 472 jobs as a brain surgeon.

Can you explain to me how HIV+ matters?

Nobody seems to be able to.

It's certainly not a question asked on the application.

And how do you know he has no work history? Secondly, why should that matter so long as he can guarantee the rent.

The dogs are a worry though, i grant you.

They NEVER remove anyone except the worst of the worst, even then it's only when they don't pay the rent for months that they actually kick you out.

At least that was the case in NSW. Not sure what SA's rules are like.

That's why I asked a rather rhetorical question. And that rental history would probably follow him.

People get tossed out/evicted for dealing drugs.

Even for lying about the fact that they’re not single but married. Which brings us back to this fraud who’s now been exposed BIG time and has been reported to Centrelink. This Centrelink fraud also has a husband. 😐

Because he doesn't look healthy, then when you add he has NO WORK HISTORY people will conclude he's a drunk or a junkie.

Literally no agent would rent to him, nor should they.

Labor’s Prime Minister Albo has an impressive investment property portfolio AND he’s always blathering on for the down and out!

What a wonderful and marvellous opportunity for Albo to put his money where his mouth is. C’mon Albo give both this Centrelink fraud and his husband a rental which they think they can afford!

You're judging that on a few photos you obsessively stalked off of Facebook so you didn't have to talk about the housing crisis?

Jesus.

I think it's fortunate that not everybody in the world is a small and narrow minded as you.

And prior to the housing crisis, even people who looked unwell and had 5 dogs found housing okay.

Now, even working families are living in emergency accommodation,,rough sleeping
or dossing wherever they can.

Did you know the largest body of homeless in Australia is women over 50? Often with no work history, because they've been raising families their whole adult lives.

You don;t want to talk about that that though. You want to gossip instead.

Once you have definitively labeled someone as unrentable where should they live ?

Not being able to get a rent because of choices, like no job and having 5 dogs should be motivation to change.

The guy literally has no work history.  Aĺl of his jobs are unpaid, like how he made himself president of the world union for unemployed workers.

A mind-boggling stupid comment.

Maybe instead we could lobby Albo to put aside more money in the next budget for affordable housing and an assist to the States for more public housing?

It might work on him. After all, he's already increased all of that massively from what the Liberals robbed the sector of for far too many years. All the while propping up investor so the market blew out and a good hunk of Australians were locked out of the property market forever.

Let's see how much Albo can pull back. Asking him to buy houses for individual renters is ridiculous though, you must agree?
