Biden Team Sparked Effort to Kill Hunter Laptop Story: Ex-CIA Boss

By James Bickerton, April 21, 2023

Newsweek.com

Hunter Biden has become the center of renewed political controversy after it emerged former acting CIA director Mike Morell helped organize a letter by 50 intelligence community figures, ahead of the 2020 presidential election, suggesting leaked emails from Hunter's laptop were Russian disinformation.

Morrell made the confession in private sworn testimony to the House Judiciary Committee, saying he acted after speaking to Antony Blinken, then part of the Biden campaign and now secretary of state, because he wanted Joe Biden to "win the election."

Appearing before the House Judiciary Committee Morell said he was contacted by Blinken "on or before" October 17, 2020, which "triggered...that intent" leading him to organize the letter, which was provided to Politico.

Morell admitted he acted because "I wanted him [Biden] to win the election."

Newsweek has contacted Hunter Biden's legal representative for comment, and the Judiciary Committee staff requesting a full transcript of Morell's remarks.

Sorry, Wombat, are you quoting from this article?

https://www.newsweek.com/biden-team-sparked-effort-kill-hunter-laptop-story-ex-c...

Why did you feel the need to gut it?

Quote:
"The American people see these House GOP attacks for what they are: political stunts intended to hurt President Biden, and House Republicans would be wise to instead focus on doing their job, raising the debt ceiling to avoid an economic catastrophe, and working together with the President to make actual progress on important issues".

And:

Quote:
In a statement sent to Newsweek White House spokesperson Ian Sams said: "Since he took office and consistent with his campaign promise that he would restore the independence of the Justice Department when it comes to decision-making in criminal investigations, President Biden has made clear that this matter would be handled independently by the Justice Department, under the leadership of a U.S. Attorney appointed by former President Trump, free from any political interference by the White House. He has upheld that commitment."

So he had a just and noble reason.

Rep. Comer: Revelations Coming on Bidens

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., said Monday that at his committee's Wednesday press conference, the American public will learn that there are "a lot" of Bidens involved in "this influence-peddling scheme," including President Joe Biden, who has concealed his role in the enterprise.

"You're going to learn, without a shadow of a doubt, that the president of the United States has lied countless times about his knowledge and his involvement in his family's shady business dealings. These payments weren't coming to the Biden family members just like manna from heaven or like a goose laying a golden egg. This was a family enterprise here, and the enterprise was influence peddling."

Comer added: "There are a lot of LLCs … We knew there were at least a dozen — until we went into the Treasury Department and had access to those bank violations, and then we find many, many more bank accounts, many, many more LLCs and many, many more Bidens that were involved in this influence-peddling scheme.

"So you're going to see exactly which countries that they were influence peddling in, you're going to see how they created this web of different companies and LLCs to try to deceive the IRS and to try to disguise who the senders were, and the senders were the worst possible actors, including the Chinese Communist Party."

Asked if he's concerned the Justice Department won't take the evidence seriously, Comer said the Oversight Committee has caught it off guard.

"They didn't think we would ever uncover anything, to be honest with you," he said. "They didn't dream we would get bank records; they didn't dream we would get access to those bank violations; and they didn't dream that whistleblowers would come forward.

"So we kind of outflanked the Justice Cabinet, and I think that now they don't know what to do, because there's a whole lot more evidence out there than they ever thought the public would know."

The laptop was Russian disinformation, Wombat. They used Wikileaks in the 2016 election, they used a blind computer repairman in 2020.

Most American citizens wanted Biden to with the election - not because he was Biden, but because he wasn't D J Trump. Given your Dear Leader's professed loyalty to Putin, sure. I'd say the entire US intelligence community wanted Biden to win.

The effort to "kill" the Hunter laptop story didn't come from the intelligence community, it came from the legal teams employed by all those fake news outlets, including Fox. Broadcasting fake news of that magnitude costs the fake news big bucks. In the case of Dominion, $786 million worth, with Smartmatic still to come.

So I'm curious. What price could be put on four more years of Trump?

The Chinese government granted a total of 41 trademarks to companies linked to Ivanka Trump by April of 2019—and the trademarks she applied for after her father became president got approved about 40% faster than those she requested before Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 election, according to a new book by Forbes’ senior editor Dan Alexander.

Over a span of two months in late 2018, the Chinese government granted 18 trademarks to companies linked to President Trump and his daughter. In October alone, according to the Associated Press, China’s Trademark Office granted provisional approval for 16 trademarks to Ivanka Trump Marks LLC. The new approvals covered Ivanka-branded fashion gear, including sunglasses, handbags, shoes and jewelry, as well as beauty services and voting machines. In January of 2019, China granted Ivanka’s company preliminary approval for another five trademarks covering child care centers, wedding dresses, and art valuation services. The applications were filed in 2016 and 2017.

Greggery, that's treason.

Wombat, is this correct? The lovely Ivanka was off doing business in Chi-na on the public dime? Please explain?

The big fella would have dated her if she wasn't his daughter. Do you think he should put her over his knee and give her a jolly good spanking?

Wombat's gone all quiet.

I was hoping he'd tell us why Ivanka has trademarks from China for voting machines.

Oh, he'll be back, Bobby. Wombat's going to tell the leftards once and for all why Hunter Biden, private citizen, is GUILTY for making an alleged $450,000 commission on a private business deal in Chi-na.

But Ivanka, Senior Advisor to the 45th Prez, is ever so clever for doing Chinese deals worth millions.

The one for the voting machines stands out though, no? Imagine, Rudy blamed politicians in Venezuela for starting Dominion. I wonder how he'd pitch a voting machine start-up by the Big Fella's senior advisor and future date.

DEEP STATE!!!
