Air Fryers (Note : Mother’s Day is coming up!)
Apr 13th, 2023 at 12:23am

Ok guys do you have any recommendations?

I’m looking at buying something around a 25 - 30 litre capacity.

(Last time I put up a topic it was on buying a new washing machine and you guys helped me buy the best washing machine I’ve ever had).

Edit : Actually I might even make this my own official Mother’s Day present for 2023. I had better quickly change the topic title. It may very well be a great Mother’s Day gift for others to consider.

Hey Mr Grappler : the prices of air fryers have come down quite a bit.

My existing air fryer needs to go as it’s been used a lot and the kids (not sure which one yet) have done something to the handle of the container which holds the food. Result? When you try to lock the container holding the chips/potato wedges/mini quiches etc ....it struggles to close properly and lock in to START.

I can work it...but it takes a few goes to lock the container in so as to activate the air fryer.

The other issue is this : The air fryer isn’t big enough so it’s not functional/practical. I’m over having to split food quantities because it means half the family have to wait.

I’ve looked at so many models online. It’s a tad confusing (I just want something reliable really).

I’m currently looking at this one👇

https://www.bunnings.com.au/black-30l-air-fryer_p0411657

No price???
No reviews???

😩😔

What grabbed me was this :

• 1800W strong power and 360-degree hot air circulation
• boasts a dual cook function serving six to eight people.

Note : 1800W is pretty good compared to what other models are offering.

Note : Serving 6 - 8 people is exactly what I need for the size of our family.

That one in your link is what I would go for if I didn’t already have this one…

I use this convection turbo cooker a lot! I’m so pleased with it. For larger roasts it has a silver extender ring.
They are all like a mini oven really, hot air used as cooking… “air fryer” is a weird terminology… but whatever sells I suppose.

Not bitter not drunk. Given you don’t do any real cooking I guess this is you trying to act as if you are a great cook?

Which one do you have, Phil?

What is good about an air fryer—it gives me the eye level oven without the expense and bother of a kitchen refit.

Looking for one that can grill and toast as well.

BTW—what sort of clown buys their mother cooking gear for Mothers Day/birthday?

Bit of jewelry be much appreciated, cookers less so.

We recently bought a Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer.

3.8 litre capacity in each basket.

Love it!

The ability to cook two different foods with different temperature and time requirements to end cooking at the same time via the "Sync" button is a good feature.

Heats up way faster than the conventional big oven so saves a bit on electricity.

Very easy to clean the non-stick trays.

Did you really want a huge 25 - 30 litre capacity one?  Shocked

Some airfryers have trays that are hard to clean, must be done in a dishwasher. Painted steel ones the worst, apparently.
