I have an inconsistent array of grass types. If I look after sections of the lawn, like I did with the front and sides, the grass grows consistently even. The backyard I have left to fend for itself. If I get the money together, I will go around the yard and try and get it golf green and evenly growing all around, with specific fertilisers.

This coming winter, I will have to get a whole bunch of potting mixes to cover areas that are looking drought-ridden. Or I might aerate the yard before I do the potting mix.

Now I just mow the weeds and don't care any more. I have managed to concrete about 1/3 of the back yard. But the target is 80%.
