Ok NotSoGreat ... you now have my attention.

Talk.

Start by fessing your political stance. After that I’ll fess mine.

I'm a-political, I loathe the current blind leading the blind adversarial political circus.

I propose a system in which the public can choose how  to mobilize the nation's resources, NOT subject to the insanity of neoclassical deadhead "independent" central bankers whose only tool to 'manage' inflation is to cause misery while attempting to control 'inflation' - the many different  causes of which they don't even understand.

[eg how is lifting interest rates going to deal with price rises due to the loss of Ukrainian cereal crops and Russian fuels on the global market?]

As for Smith's "invisible hand", it only works in a simple pre-corporatist, non global supply-chain age,  where individual craftsmen compete with one another, ie it's obsolete as a basis for economic theory.

It’s not obsolete as it provides a basis for teaching the history of economic theory at Uni.

In fact if you really know what you’re talking about you’d agree that the same may be said for all economic theories. In their pure form of course.

Now let’s go back and deal with your alleged apolitical stance - we both know that’s not true.

So let’s make things a tad easier.

In the following continuum:

far left : centre left : centre right : far right

Where do you (roughly) slot in?

But of course free marketeers still appeal to it today as a workable propostion, in the age of automation which has rendered simple free markets obsolete in a global supply chain economy.

You might have to tell me, since I'm apolitical.

I despise the Coaltion's 'small government', 'go get a job' stance....and yet Paul Keating said that too, despite the fact there are over a million involuntarily unemployed people in Oz.

I like most of the Greens' economic policies...but they don't know how to pay for them in a way which is acceptable to most of the public (ie the Greens usually propose higher taxes).

And I think most Greens are into absolute national sovereignty - which is incompatable with effective international law (though Senator Jordan Steele-John is strongly anti war.

So where do you place me on the continuum?

Half a yard is 1.5 feet.

OK - so can you spot a communist at 10 meters?
Any here at Ozpolitic?

All insane too.

Oh that’s easy. You’re a far left winger who’s in denial lol.

I see myself as being centre right (on most issues).

Where do you see me on the continuum?

Note : I’m of the opinion that people change over time as a result of life’s experiences etc and that often changes how we think about issues (which may affect where we sit on the above continuum).

Well - there is a list.

Methra is hard core insane so she’s definitely one.

in denial of what? The possibility of effective international law?  And the possibility of eradicating poverty, and enforced welfare dependency as the stop gap for the current dysfunctional neoclassical economic orthodoxy?

Guilty as charged.

Right of Albo and Chalmers who are neo-liberal/neoclassical followers, abandoning the original vision of the ALP as a "workers' party."
Geez they can't even build public housing without resorting to  gambling on the stock exchange (for "the housing fund").  Even Menzies supported a large public housing stock via deficit spending.

Yes. But see how silly the continuum is....Hawke and  Keating to the Right of Menzies and Whitlam, economically if not socially...(Menzies was socially 'conservative' after all...)

FTLW might be a marxist, none of the rest of your ridiculous list are. I note you have provided not a shred of evidence for including any of those names on your ridiculous list.

Then we get the stupid/obsessive:

No evidence provided to link any of the accounts, just a drug-damaged mind with an obsession.
