Surely you put a return to sender address on the envelope. Ask them to send it back and you can give the money to aussie in a proper manner for handing cash.
This is all crap SN. He knows it.
His tale is that he sent the thing addressed to my name at a Post Office....nowhere anywhere near where I live.
The return address, he said, was to his Sister, in SA. Now, he says the name "John Smith" is on the return address.
No matter what he comes up with, if he actually did send that the thing to that PO...all he need do is ring that PO...tell them the details he is describing here, and that PO would very likely accept his credentials.
He could ring that PO and say, "Hello, my name is John Smith. I sent an envelope containing $60,00 in cash to your PO addressed to a bloke whose name is.....*Aussie*......the return address was to 'John Smith, 122345 Main Road, Adelaide, South Australia.' Mr *Aussie* has not collected it, and neither have you sent it on to John Smith, 122345 Main Road, Adelaide, South Australia. What has happened?"
Simple.
No way am I going to do anything.
