They don't like this about themselves so they try to project it on to conservative figures

Freud had a term for this

It's quite a common psychological phenomenon

We certainly know that the left are self-loathing

So they look internally and see their evil desires
And it really triggers them to try to get those evil desires out of their head
So they dump on someone from the other side of politics

It's very obvious to the noble conservative that this is what is going on
People can certainly be blind to their blind spots
