Ho hum.....
This sort of terrible news is hardly newsworthy any more.
Not to Americans, that's for sure—they just don't care
about the
14,670 innocent citizens killed by firearms to
date this year alone—including
615 children.
It should be acknowledged as a national disgrace, and should
catalyse the rewriting of the outdated 2nd Amendment.
One of the major blocks to this ever happening of course is
that far too many Americans share the gung-ho, wannabe
cowboy attitude of
Panther
, for example. He and his
gun-nutter peers obviously lack any compassion for their fellow
citizenry—all in the cause of being able to show what big, brave
men they are with a rifle slung across their backs, or a sidearm on
each hip.
I consider that this state of affairs in the US to be reprehensible.
BTW... is it true that the average US gun owner has only a
2-digit IQ.
Or is that being generous, considering the moronic, injudicious
comments made by our very own
Panther
?
