Stoned again turdie? Is 132200 for business customers,  or could it be the number I said they don't answer?

And I don't give a bugger about their apps. I know you're too stupid to work it out for yourself but the point of the thread was  about a phone company that you cannot phone.

No, lots of people can call Telstra, but not you because you're an epsilon minus who dribbles.

You must be projecting again turdie. I've never seen anyone dribble on modems. Does your family often dribble on modems? I

Yes but only since its inception.

Why do you think that their symbol is a T falling into a hole.

...

They were very proud of that one.

Not really the point is it dumbarse

So, the issue was just a matter of a reboot, which solved your problem. And you did not think to do that in the first place, before waiting an hour on the phone to get someone to fix your problem? I think it really is the point.

Another moron.
The point is that  a phone company has made it so you cannot phone it.
Never mind the fact that Telstra redirected the phone number of a business to a third party in the first place.

I know why it's beyond turdie,  he's as high as a kite. But what's your excuse?

I received an email from Telstra last week telling me that my 6 month 'no extra charge' trial of 50/20 NBN which they gave me 3 years ago was coming to an end.  Grin

They were supposed to contact me again at the end of the 6 months (which should have been at the end of 2020) and ask me if I wanted to keep it or go back to my original 25/5.

I've been paying about $80 a month for internet and home phone until now.

After careful consideration I decided to keep the 50/20 which is only going to cost an extra $15 a month (with $10 a month off for the first 6 months - but you never know, it might end up being 3 years again.. lol).

You called up to make a request to have a connection fault corrected. A fault that you said was corrected by "turning the modem off and then back on". And you were on the phone for an hour before you sort your own solution? The only moron here is yourself. You could have avoided posting your experience trying to get through to Telstra, when you yourself said that the phone call was not necessary to solve your problem.

Why do I try and solve a problem myself before I ask others for help resolving simple matters? I dunno. Probably my stubbornness in not wanting to let others see me as weak or useless. Why did you jump on the phone when a simple solution presented itself?

FTTH since September 2015.

We were lucky... the last street in Rivervale heading north from Orrong Road to get FTTH before everyone else got FTTN.

And we only got it because it had already been contracted to be done under the previous Federal Labor government before the Liberals won the 2013 election and stuffed up the rest of the NBN after that.

Nice. I am on ADSL 13/0.8. Crap.

But Labor should get rid of the stupid 20:5, 50:20 and 100:40 crap and charge for data up/downloaded and let you select any speed: with FTTH costs the same for 1Gbps symmetric as 12:1!

Gee. I rang my Super and I was on the line for 'over an hour' before being answered. Does that make them 'crap service'?
No. Because being on hold for long periods is the usual when ringing big companies, unlike small businesses.

Apparently it used to be Telecom's fault when they charged people who called them out to fix their phone lines from crackling... which all they had to do was blow the dust out of both ends of their connections.

Same here - we were lucky and got the FTTH before it changed.
