Well, being that I live on the borderline between tropical and temperate regions, I see video footage of NSW (including northern NSW) experiencing snowfall during the winter. I always assume any place south (and southwest) of the Gold Coast would likely experience cold and snow.

Having looked at the graphics of weather patterns (including the ones you have provided, Monk) of Tasmania and Victoria, I can only imagine how cold and near Antarctic conditions it must be down there. Up here in Rockhampton, my father puts the dog coats on his two fur-kids before he sends the dogs outside for the night and into their own tent-covered beds. Rarely do we see temperatures get below 5°C at night. But if Dad is spoiling his dogs with coats for nights below 10°C, I can imagine that your dog must stay inside during the winter nights.

As far as I am concerned, winter in Tasmania looks like Antarctic conditions.

In Hobart they have snow in November -
even sometimes at Xmas. brrrrrrrrrrr

Maybe only to reiterate that Panadol should only be a short-term solution to pain and fever. I bought a pack of Aspro Clear to counter my likely upcoming influenza -- that a psychosomatic like me believes is a certainty to happen in June. People have told me that the usage of Aspro Clear should be only for a couple of days at most. Even the packaging states a warning not to use the product for more than a week.
