Strange way for politicians to achieve friendly relations with a foreign neighbor. First bomb the sh!t out of them, kill thousands of their people, cover the place with a deadly chemical and condemn any soldier who resists helping the politicians to get that job done, as not doing their duty

Next step, condemn the soldiers who did do their duty. Then go have a party with said foreign neighbor, and give them a donation to remain communist

Half-brain politicians no doubt

Saw a letter in the paper yesterday where someone said our FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) Prime Minister needs to have the credit card confiscated before he boards the VIP jet to travel overseas (which he seems to spend most of his time doing since becoming PM).

Gotta take as many selfies as he can before he gets the boot in 2 years time (hopefully sooner), I guess?

After he's gone he can then bore his family and friends (if he still has any friends) for years by showing them his selfies over and over.

Albo's election honeymoon is truly over.

We've seen him in the true light.

..... and the nightmares have only just started....... there's still the sheila bullshit to go through yet... they're suffering you know... despite averaging more per worked hour in makework jobs in the main.....

I Told You So!!!

So, this deal will enhance Australia's security, help deal with climate change, clamp down on international money laundering and, of course, will facilitate the migration of Vietnamese workers to alleviate labour shortfalls when needed.

It's a quid pro quo. You'd be foolish to think otherwise.

yes linus, that's totally what we need. more migrant workers. when we already import 400k a year anyway.

a genius like you should be working for the labor party

Thank you. Roll Eyes

Of course, if you had considered two words "when needed", I guess you'd have had nothing say.

Albo did good for Australia. It was money well spent.

It will also prevent the half-brain Liberals (and Labor) from ever authorizing the invading and blasting to hell any other Asian nation because of their politics. Communism has grown on us and both major parties have adopted many of it's principles, especially the Labor party

It will also prevent conscription ever occurring in Australia again - just watch what happens to anyone idiot enough to try bringing it in

I have never voted for the half-brain Libs and Labs, my conscience is clear, their inconsistency in foreign policy making is beyond comprehension, lives and billions wasted, and for what? just so they can have beer drinking parties with foreign dignitaries

Well - we need them to do a Belgium and delay the Chinkese for a week or two.... building a cordon sanitaire around expansionist, militarist China.

oh we totally need to ensure that reservoir of foreign workers and migrants is as large as humanly possible. heaven knows we might run out of the 1.5 billion indians who would move here and others if they were offered the chance. i'm glad albanese is looking out for the welfare of renters, individuals locked out of the real estate market and the working poor with our ever expansively genereous migration program.

The man and his party these days are megalomaniac socio/psychopaths without a real job anywhere between them over life, and an amazing concept of their own worth and right to rule ....  it's a sheila thing.

He seems incapable of boosting the value of the Aussie dollar. If it sinks any lower, even imported products made in Vietnam will be discretionary luxury items

I don't know what the uproar is all about - we want them as a friend and ally and trading partner.... it's only a day's rent to the Aborigine Industries anyway... what's the problem?

Local politics there are complex ... it's not all pure communism..... it's communism with a special Vietnamese flavour....

.... and there's the biggest problem - the assumption of their 'right' to govern and not husband the nation on behalf of its people.... look at the dopey labor lot... every one of them is that nightmare Hawke warned of - an elitist..... total opposite of what they once stood for.....

My Local Council could have done with some of that money as a grant to build basic infrastructure like curb and guttering, storm water channeling to prevent the flooding we get, footpaths, sealed street roads, adequate street lighting, mobile phone reception, a PO mailing box, and a public phone box that works .. for my village
