Over-vaccination likely delays the body's natural immunological response to known covid variants such that when over-vaccinated persons contract novel covid variants, that evade acquired immunity to previous variants, they are more likely to suffer a more severe reaction to those new variants than might otherwise be the case,

Reports of vaccinated/maximally boosted people contracting covid multiple times are increasing.

Naturally infected populations were less likely to be reinfected by SARS-CoV-2 than the infection-naïve and vaccinated individuals. Although, reinfected individuals did not suffer severe disease, a remarkable proportion of naturally infected or vaccinated individuals were (re)-infected by the emerging variants.

ATAGI has recognised the risks of continual vaccinations/boosters and recommends that only those over 65, or 18-to-64 years old with comorbidities be vaccinated.

ATAGI restricts vaccination from 5-to-17-year-olds except for those with comorbidities.

It's clear that ATAGI's risk-benefit assessment of vaccination is evolving.

Given Britain's age upper limit is currently at 75, it's likely that ATAGI's assessment will further evolve.
