According to Scott Ritter, it's over for Ukraine bar WW3. And no  one is prepared to go to WW3 for Ukraine. The West started poking the Russians without being prepared. As a consequence Ukraine has been turned to rubble, it's soldiers put through a meat grinder and the state of its civilian population is tragic. We may well see Ukraine disappear as a country.

It has been all over for Ukraine, according to some 'experts' since day one of the Russian invasion, yet 18 months later Ukraine is still fighting. Meanwhile Russian troops are deserting, their mercenaries are rebelling and things are not going according to plan.... Roll Eyes

Russia is not a winner in this war.

Even the Turks are walking away from Russia, and the CCP is distancing itself and cultivating stronger ties to the central Asian republics, no doubt anticipating Russian sphere-of-influence decline.

Don’t mind me .... I’m just connecting a few dots (knowing a bit of history helps)

Russia vs Ukraine

Both Slavs
Both Orthodox
Both once known as USSR

👉 Kinda sorta like a civil war

👉 Divide/Conquer opportunity.

👉 Which other country stands to win the most from such a conflict scenario?

The Turks were buying grain and other food items and selling it to the Russians to get around sanctions - not anymore.

The Turks were allowing Russian exports out to markets via Turkey, by buying them from Russia, to avoid sanctions - not anymore.

The Turks are now going to escort Ukrainian ships in the Black Sea exporting grain, over strong Russian objections.

The Turks have agreed to allow Sweden to join NATO over strong Russian objections.

I think the answer is the USA. In particular a guy called Larry Fink who controls Blackrock which is the biggest company in the world. Its headquarters are based in the USA too. He’s an avid Democrat who’s close to Biden and his company works for Biden too.

From what I’ve been researching on and off today (as I’ve been busy with housewife stuff too ) this Fink guy makes a lot of money out of guns and war. The resultant profits of war feed his organizational structure ensuring it continues to grow and retain its reputation as a monopolistic monolithic force to be reckoned with.

Fink sits/advised on this interesting and pretty serious council.

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) an American think tank specializing in U.S. foreign policy and international relations.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_on_Foreign_Relations

Dear God he also sits/advises on this council too.

World Economic Forum

The Forum suggests that a globalised world is best managed by a self-selected coalition of multinational corporations, governments and civil society organizations (CSOs),which it expresses through initiatives like the "Great Reset" and the "Global Redesign".

Which brings me to this topic 👇

US/NATO arms supplies have delayed the inevitable but the inevitable is ineluctable...short of igniting WW3.

correct, the pew centre for research says this.

REPORTJUNE 21, 2023
Inflation, Health Costs, Partisan Cooperation
Democrats hold edge on many issues, but more Americans agree with Republicans on economy, crime, immigration

The public’s list of the top problems facing the nation includes inflation, health care affordability, drug addiction and gun violence.

Inflation remains the top concern for Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, with 77% saying it is a very big problem. The state of moral values, illegal immigration and the budget deficit also are seen as top problems by at least two-thirds of Republicans.

For Democrats and Democratic leaners, gun violence is the top concern, with about eight-in-ten (81%) saying it is a very big problem. The affordability of health care ranks second (73% say this).

Democrats are more than four times as likely as Republicans to say that climate change is a very big problem in the country (64% vs. 14%). Democrats are also much more likely to say gun violence and racism are very big problems.

Moral values?

Oo-er. Beware the one in whom the virtue signaller is strong, Aquascoot.

Do the Real Americans understand how the Russian invasion has effected inflation?

We'll keep that one to ourselves, shall we? With any luck, they'll accept your view on Vlad, restorer of moral values.

We will make America great again,  ya?

A fascist is a fascist, no matter what nationality or religion they espouse. What Russia is doing in Ukraine is exactly the same as the atrocities of ISIS, Al Q, or the Burma Junta. We see member's fascist rants here, offered as comment.

What Putin has done to Russia's fledgling democracy will scar that nation for generations.

It is remarkable how those who embrace fascism can twist lies and the most evil atrocities into moral crusades. And that is precisely what we are seeing on this forum.

Zelensky, an artist, the stand up comedian turned leader, a fascist? The representative of those who stood up to the murderous acts of the Putin's puppet president in 2014, a fascist?

You people are scum.

Putin is not responsible for the damage done to the idea of Russian democracy, that was done by Yeltsin.

After the disastrous economic, social and political catastrophe of the Yeltsin years between the fall of the Soviet Union and the rise of Putin, few, if any, Russians have faith in democracy and have returned to their ancient Russian instincts - to trust in a Tsar-like strongman to protect Mother Russia and lead the Russian people by strength of personality.

Oh? What's wrong with that? ISIS, Al Q and the Burmese military simply want to make things great again, no?

Aquascoot's always said, dear, the Superior Man's a little bit naughty. He likes to cut a few corners to get things done. Take Caesar crossing the Rubicon. The Roman Republic wasn't destroyed in a day, you know. We need great men to take charge and get things done.

Where would we be without the ISISes, Al Qs and Burmese militaries? Where would we be without the Caesars? And yes, where would we be without the noble Vlads, building palaces, invading countries and managing the skim? They're just making things great again, that's all.

Imagine a world without the Superior Man and his followers,  Issue. You can't?

Well. Best you stop complaining then.
