Antarctica-too Cold For The Old Drunk
Jun 26th, 2023 at 8:02am

Our resident 80 yr old Drunk has another addiction everyone. He religiously gets up at 4.30 am to post HERE. And to keep posting HERE. One has to ask why?

Is it the desperate need for more grog? Is it the freezing cold Antarctic weather that’s giving his titanium hip a lot of grief? Is it the corrugated iron lean to shed he’s now living in that’s the issue? It could even be due to the cyber junkie addiction that’s part n parcel of his reclusive incel “existence” 👈 I couldn’t use the word “life-style” because the tosspot has no life.

Let’s all do the right thing by showing how much we appreciate his round the clock determination to keep up the post count of OzPol. Remember for Drunk it’s all about quantity .... never about quality when it comes to online posting. And his last alcohol fried brain cell will guarantee that’s all you’ll ever get from the old stingy grub and thief.

76.

Tassie is 5500Km from Antarctica, has all these green things like trees and grass coming out the ground and snow only falls in areas ≥ 1000' above sea level.

Christ, the damage drugs do to the mind, frightening!

Perth feels colder than Antarctica this morning.

And will continue to feel like that all week.

http://www.bom.gov.au/wa/forecasts/perth.shtml

4 degrees Celsius outside right now (nearly 6:30am here).

At least it's stopped raining for this week.

Yeah, obviously blindly jealous that I bought a house while he is renting a squalid Housing Commission flat.

“corrugated iron lean to shed”

Yesterday it was a wooden house but I do not expect consistency from a drug addict.

Where I am it is warmer than that, 5–8°C is minimum, for this week anyway. Will get nights of -8°C.  Grin Grin Grin

Nah, just the coast line does not affect anything so 5500 it is.

By your measurement, Melbourne is like 3000Km away from coastline of Antarctica.

Melbourne to Antarctica is 5802Km, not much less than Tassie and more exposed to the Roaring 40s than anything inland of the west coast of Tassie.

That's rubbish.
You sit right in the circumpolar currents and winds of Antarctica - the roaring 40s.
You are at 43 degrees South.
It's gunna get even colder for you.
I hope you and Socks will be OK.

Melbourne would get hit by them too—it is not a fixed thing but a stochastic one. It is part of the reason Melbourne gets susch unpleasant non-seasonal weather. I prefer where I am.

How did the old sailing ships from England get to Tassie or Southern Australia?
