Is AGW making the USA unlivable? (Read 86 times)

Jul 11^th, 2023 at 10:17am It seems that it is every month there is a flood, heatwave, tornado, or hurricane causing human misery in the USA. Today New York State had an 8-inch [200 mm] rain deluge. People died again. Home insurance is becoming unaffordable in some parts of the USA.

Wow. People have never died in floods before. Roll Eyes

"According to Weather Stern, the all-time record for rain in a 24 hour period was set August 13-14, 2014, when 13.57 inches was overserved at the Islip Macarthur Airport. records indicate that over an inch of rain fell in under 10 minutes that day (5:39 - 5;48 AM).

What makes this even more astounding was this event was not even tied to a tropical storm of any kind.
