Lots of hyperbole and fancy - not a single hit...

Now it's the turn of the other side ...

Senator Reynolds was hardly neutral or unbias when she tried to help Mr Lehrmann's defence team smear Brittney Higgins....Senator Reynolds can hardly claim she was supporting Brittney Higgins who was still a public servant working for Minister Cash when she was helping Mr Lehrmann who had been sacked for his conduct....What boss secretly defends someone they sacked whilst claiming they were fully supporting the victim of rape???

Senator tried to help Lehrmann in rape trial: lawyer

Ms Higgins' lawyer told a Perth court the senator communicated with Mr Lehrmann's defence Steve Whybrow before and during his aborted criminal trial.

"What those 21 messages show is the senator's partisan attitude in favour of the accused," she told the Western Australian Supreme Court on Monday during her closing submissions.

Ms Young said Senator Reynolds gave Mr Whybrow suggestions for potential witnesses and phone numbers to contact them.

Obligation to provide relevant evidence... you ever heard of that?  Young Higgins didn't need much 'smearing' .... even the Eld Gel - a 'survivor' - says she is phoney - I've got a two bob watch here...

Higgins was treated with kid gloves - The Deuce got the sack .... Reynolds simply did not jump to conclusions and when asked provided supported evidence on what actually occurred.  Missy Higgins could have asked Reynolds for some evidence, too..... she didn't - which is telling.

Are you against the idea of including any ex-culpatory evidence?  I'm curious ....

There you go again, ranting and raving and name-calling - Higgins' lawyer used a lot of emotive words but not much substance...  WTF are you raving on about?  Your 'court proceedings' read properly and without YOUR bias show that clearly.

Get a grip lad - you'll blow a gasket.... we all hope.  There is nothing wrong with Reynolds giving information to fill in parts of the case, when requested to do so.

Are you now saying that the only witnesses allowed and the only evidence allowed is for the accuser, or in the case of deuce's first civil action, only if it's for the defence?  A person has the right to ask for information and evidence and to see if what is given is of value to the case.

Would you equally say that Brittany Higgins was at fault for seeking views of people close to the events? Or for seeking support from all those lined up to give it free or at public expense?  Any comments there about bias and such?

What is WRONG with you, boy - apart from being abysmally stupid?

Keep up in class, lad....  YOU brought up the issue of Reynolds in the Leer Man case ...... I answered it... so let's try again - do you have a problem with an applicant to a court seeking corroboration and evidence that may help the case... or not?  You know - like Deuce did with Reynolds in his case... if she had relevant information or evidence he was well within his rights to ask for it .. nd she to give it.

Only in the emotion-driven and riddled minds of the  Luvvahs of Accusahs That Are Wimmen does anyone ever suggest that available evidence should not be polled...

so now your claim is that a man accused has no rights - but a woman accuser has all rights and more, including to crush his evidence out of existence with the connivance of the 'court'.

Think carefully about your answer, M Ballespetites - or you are coming with me....

You proto-Nazis are all the same... totally confused about reality and you hide it behind bombast.  It's not my fault that you have the intellectual and verbal capacity of a flea .... in whining about Deuce seeking info from Reynolds you said clearly that this was wrong, thereby designating that  the seeking of info from one side - the one you chose from Day One to hate, is somehow dishonest.... yet the same from the other side is not.

Truly you are bizarre - no wonder they never let you near a jury.

Keep jumping on the end of the line...

Does anyone have an update on Bruce latest trial for raping?

You got give credit to these young “ born to rule “ liberal’s.

When they aren’t raping colleagues on senator desks in Canberra there out on the northern beaches of Sydney raping children.
It’s no wonder the liberals couldn’t meet the deadline to contest council elections.

With all the raping and child  gay intercourse and frantic denials they obviously just didn’t have time between being charged and seeking legal advice?

"The Higgins legal team only learned that Senator Reynolds was helping the defence of her alleged rapist during the trial through discovery

And?  Are you suggesting that the alleged rapist did not have the right to ask for and receive help, information, possible support and any possible ex-culpatory evidence?

....Senator Reynolds never offered any help to Ms Higgins after she was shipped off to Cash's office....

Did Young Brit request any information or supporting evidence from Reynolds or any staff?  Senator Reynolds offered young Higgins a walk to the local Federal Police station inside Parliament House if she wished to make any complaints of a legal nature (which she had not done in interview with Reynolds so Reynolds was doing the right thing making that offer - covering all the bases as an ex Army officer would do) .... Reynolds did not sack Young Brit alongside her fellow perpetrator of the security breach (Pussy Pass), Deuce got the arse, she got the pass for the same offence .... Young Brit was offered the choice of remaining in Canberra or working out of Reynolds' Western Australian office, then when unhappy, was handed a transfer to another Minister's office ...

Reynolds also referred Ms Higgins settlement to the Anti Crime Commission and leaked confidential details of the settlement to News Ltd journo"

And??  Reynolds considered that, unlike Young Brit and The Case, if there was a case to answer about the way in which Young Brit was handed a hefty golden handshake, it should be referred to a policing body (as Young Brit did NOT do about her claimed 'rape' until long after all evidence was dead, cremated and buried), and Reynolds, probably rightly in the public interest since everyone else wanted to know, felt that there was something shady about a 'confidential settlement'.

Now then - Young Brit and her Bruce clone husband David Sharkaz, are putting their paid for home in France up for sale to cover costs.  You should read some of the public comments about that and how happy many are out there in Australialand to hear that this is the case...

For something never proven in a court of law and having zero chance of ever being proven in such a court, since Young Brit destroyed evidence etc, and others did a very poor job...... this absolute non-event is certainly causing a lot of people a lot of pain.

Maybe you, you POS, need to get your head out of your arse and try to think for once.... and shut your foul mouth while you're at it. It's sheep like you who are dragging this country into the slimy ditches alongside the roads of civilisation.

Hmmm - lot of new arse tearing from both sides, eh?  Always do a Reynolds, lads, and WAIT on the facts to come forth, instead of jumping to conclusion after being driven by emotion.  Jeez - if you really want to get serious about that kind of thing, you can cut your balls off and become a woman in your own feelings....

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/senator-needs-to-nail-higgins-lie-trial...

"Brittany Higgins must be "restrained" and Senator Linda Reynolds "needs to nail the lie" amid a conspiracy to inflict hurt and injury on the politician, a court has been told.

Ms Higgins is fighting a defamation lawsuit launched by her former boss, Senator Reynolds, over a series of social media posts that the ex-defence minister believes damaged her reputation.

In closing his case, the senator's lawyer Martin Bennett said Ms Higgins planned with her now husband David Sharaz to harm his client and the damage she caused was amplified by her social media posts.

"This was intended by Ms Higgins," he told the Western Australian Supreme Court on Wednesday.

"Her boast was that she fights to control the daily media cycle, throwing mud ... plainly inseparable from her truth, a concept that's factually devoid of actual truth."

"To vindicate her reputation (Senator Reynolds) needs to nail the lie that's been perpetuated since February 2021," Mr Bennett said

He called for Ms Higgins to be legally restrained from further defamatory posts against the senator as she was "wedded to social media" and would "continue to proclaim her truth".

Senator Reyholds' reputation demands the truth be established because if it isn't, "sure as anything" Ms Higgins will continue to defame her, Mr Bennett said.

He said Senator Reynolds was entitled to a substantial damage award, citing cases where litigants had been awarded up to $675,000.

Outside court, the senator said she was relieved the trial was over and it was "highly regrettable that I've had to take it this far to not only defend my reputation but also to get the truth out there and to stop the publications of things that are not true".

The senator said the case had taken a toll on her and everybody she loved.

"It was very good for me after three and a half years to be able to tell my story and for my family and friends and colleagues to also be able to tell the truth," she said.

Asked if it was difficult to take legal action against Ms Higgins, an alleged rape victim, and put "a chunk" of her $2.4 million Commonwealth settlement at risk, the senator said: "That's not a fair question".

"It's important to note that I've never doubted or contradicted, in fact, I did everything I could to support her allegations," she said.

"This is not about the allegation and the finding of rape, this is about what was said and what was alleged about my actions."

Mr Bennett addressed Ms Higgins' statements and social media posts about the senator attempting to silence her as a sexual assault victim, saying the case wasn't about the alleged rape.

"Ms Higgins is not being sued for speaking out about sexual assault," he said.

"She's been sued for defaming the senator."

"The fact that she was sexually assaulted is accepted by Senator Reynolds, deeply sympathetic to the trauma ... but that didn't give Ms Higgins a licence to defame."

Mr Bennett also outlined a 2021 message exchange between Ms Higgins and her partner David Sharaz in which they discussed the senator's political demise after she took leave from parliament.

"So Linda has delayed her return to work hahaha, three weeks," said one of the messages read by Mr Bennett.

Another said: "Wow, she's done. You don't take three weeks and come back".

"So they mock the fact that the attack initiated on my client has caused her to go on sick leave," Mr Bennett said.

He reminded the court how Ms Higgins and Mr Sharaz had allegedly executed a plan to harm the senator.

Mr Bennett said that in another of Mr Sharaz's messages to Ms Higgins, he said: "Suck sh*t Linda, you awful human".

Both sides have now put their cases and Justice Paul Tottle has reserved his decision."

Commentary:-  So much to-do and utterances and even not quite rendering of facts about something NEVER PROVEN TO HAVE HAPPENED - Reynolds was incorrect in saying that she accepted one version without evidence.  Again - that is an opinion - not a truth.

Deuce has never been found guilty in a court of law and the evidence was as thin as an Ethiopian's greyhound.

As for Young Brit - she increasingly sounds like a rather silly young thing addicted to social media and drama and seems to be malleable, as so many are these days, in the hands of the social media types and even her friends - it's a form of borderline personality disorder in which the social media world becomes the reality and the world is the fantasy (leads to nut cutting and such in youngsters who should not even have access to such information) - hardly the credentials for a reliable witness.

Anyway - this will be a good one.

Jeez - this Sharkaz sounds a bit twee, doesn't he?  Is that... like.... a modern thing for 'men'?

... but there's more...  don't go away - stay glued to your seat ...

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/reynolds-lawyer-throws-spotlight-on-hig...

Everyone is ignoring the fact that Young Brit didn't make any complaint until later.... once again - at the initial interview which Young Brit entered knowing that Deuce had already been given his marching orders, the Senator offered to 'walk' her down to the AFP point in PH if there was anything she felt needed to be discussed with police... Young Brit refused and yet still got the Pussy Pass on keeping her job .... and then delayed making any complaint until her ideas had curdled enough or she was advised to do so.  Wonder by who??

This whole thing sucks.

P.S.  Told yez they put all the relevant news up in the middle of the night - by the time you dirt-holes get out of bed it's disappeared..... just like John Howard's comment that those dead Iraqi citizens died for a good cause in Desert Storm ... or that parachuting airman footage on Night One of the bombing campaign .... that guy is still missing and his wife has been paid out long ago.... but nobody was shot down officially.  Nearly landed on the falcon camera.

You really should read all these links for the actual words spoken, which quite often give a different skew from what the media initially reports......

Reynolds:-  “It’s important to note that I’ve never doubted or contradicted (Ms Higgins’ rape allegations), in fact I did everything I could to support the allegations,” she said." ... note - AS allegations, not as indisputable truth.

Not quite the same as saying she accepted them as truth ...  start thinking, pigeons.... you are being sheep-dipped by the media as only sheep can be....
