Nobody's arguing any such thing - they are asking questions such as the simple one:-  "Is this the same guy?"  Nobody has yet shown conclusively that it is.

You are delusional.... thank god your condition excludes you from jury duty.

Are you sure you're okay? Like cognitively?

I honestly don't understand how you keep drawing the bows you do.

Is it all because you're cross with me for siding with Lefty?

Clearly from that response it is not I who have any problem with anything... is this the same guy?

I'm curious....... Aussie reckons the same name or nearly means it is.... but that's not proof.... over to you .... you can do it in spite of your cognitive dysfunctions.....

It is exactly the same name including the very odd second Christian name, Emery.

The initial reports said the person had family connections in Toowoomba (Lehrmann does...his Mother lives there, or did at the relevant time.)  Lehrmann also schooled in Toowoomba.

The same reports described the bloke as high profile....well, Lehrmann fits that bill too.

It is the same Goose, Grappler.  Deal with that fact.

Wake up, toad-boy - I merely asked the question - you're getting closer now... but try just to answer simple questions in a civil way and don't go off into the wild reaches of your imagination like mothra and throw accusations and assumptions around.... that's not lawyerly at all....

I'd still like to know if it's the exact same guy.... sounds close - but that's still not definitive.

Nope, I had him nailed from day one, when he first "appeared."  He was then roasted by the Beak for having the gall to appear by phone without the Beak's prior approval, pleading a frail state of mind at the time.

You don't suspect he was malingering so as to avoid cameras do you Grappler?

Only mildly malingering.... just enough for Witness B to get out from under... fair enough though to protect identity.  Even having a newspaper over his face you would see the body shape and say - Yay or Nay... I mean if THIS Witness B was skinny as a rake with tattoos....

I'd like to know what is really going on here... Witness B asking for telephone records raises some questions....

The way it “LOOKS” to me?

1. High Profile Goose is stalling.

2. His lawyer is throwing hurdles to buy time.

3. I don’t believe there’s anything in any telephone record that’s going to change much about this matter. Telephone records vs physical actions = the latter trumps the former.

4. Like everyone here ... I’m still trying to get over how the same High Profile goose is facing the same allegations in August 2023.

Funny how the accusation is so similar..... and I believe 'twice' this is alleged to have happened ... on two separate occasions .... the phone records may show a pattern of behaviour amounting to a plan as laid down by St Brittany, by this second 'woman'..

Need to know a lot more about all of them before any judgements can be made.  Who is she?  What is she? What motivates her?

Remember Eddie the Aboriginal guy?  Sitting in a cell because his 'girlfriend' - who was fifteen, a not unusual age for Aborigines - said he'd 'abducted' he and held her against her will, i.e. raped her, even though they were seen repeatedly walking the streets hand in hand etc.... then they tried to pin that 'body on the rail line' job on him, saying they had 'fresh evidence' indicating DNA.... he walked.

He also became a 'Black Muslim' ... being victimised does strange things to people...

Just a thought here - so a guy once accused of a heinous crime while in a position of trust etc, losing his job and suffering national humiliation as a result - will go out and just do it again?  Sounds a bit odd to me .....

Anyway - Eddie said the only reason his girl would say those things was because if he was convicted she would likely get the then princely sum of $50,000 from victim's compensation.  Money does strange things to people....

So, the Law changed today and in a few days, it will be legal in Queensland to name a person charged with rape from the moment of charge.  Currently, it can only happen after that person has been committed for Trial, meaning a Magistrate has made a determination that a prima facie case has been made out.

I disagree with the change as the current position did appropriately protect people accused on flimsy evidence, provided the Cops have charged.  Way too much power thus is in the hands of an accuser and dumb Cops.

However, you can thus expect this bloke's name to be lawfully out there very soon.

Could we still post as per former QLD law restrictions? That way we can maintain continuity (plus this guy has earned his High Profile Goose title).

The new Laws take effect in some days.  Until then, we'll have to pretend we don't know.

But, when the s
hi

Agreed. There are instances I suppose where the allegation of sexual assault/rape may well arise out of spite. And let’s not forget that the alleged perpetrator may be either male or female.

I will say this though : It matters not if you’re a boy or a girl...or a man or woman: if someone touches you and you DO NOT like it then SPEAK UP AND LET THEM KNOW.

Likewise if someone touches you and you DO like it then again just let them know. Some people (for whatever reason) don’t pick up on signals.

I could say so much more ...but I reserve such sermons for my kids.

So the phone saga continues.  Have to say that I really don't get it given it is alleged the parties involved did not know each other before the alleged incident.  But, there must be some relevance otherwise the Crown would have bitched about having to produce these phone records.

Still, 3rd October is the day the Media can release the alleged rapist's name.

It looks like the mystery man (let's call him Bruce) won't be named. A court order has been granted to prevent publication of his name...

Yes....but it is only temporary and keeps the status quo pending a hearing of the mystery man's...let's call him Bruce....application to suppress his name notwithstanding the change in legislation due to come into effect on October 3rd.

Typical assault on the already flimsy rights of the accused.

“..civil liberties are less secure in the hands of Labour politicians, nervously striving to prove their responsibility by bowing to pressure from the police and the security services, than of died-in-the-wool Conservatives who have no need to prove their Law and Order credentials.”
