“My name is Mohammed, slave of Allah,” the man told staff. “Are you a slave of Allah? Are you? Say it! Say it! Are you a slave of Allah?”

This Muslim radical could be facing a jail
sentence of between ten and 20 years
according to the Australian Crimes (Aviation)
Act 1991.

Section 20A [c] of the Act states that a person
commits an offence "if the person assaults,
threatens with violence or intimidates another
person
; and the other person is a member of
the crew of the aircraft".

The obvious—as yet unanswered—question is
what exactly was in his backpack, and why
was it strapped across his chest instead of being
in the overhead locker?

He'll just get a one year good behaviour bond.

And once again, Our ABC is running interfearence for MuzSlimes.

Instead of reporting what he said, they turn the story around to be about the police Smiley

Passengers onboard a Malaysian Airlines flight from Sydney to Kuala Lumpur have criticised the response time of authorities after a man allegedly made threats onboard and forced the plane to turn back.

This is all they could manage

Passengers posted videos on social media showing a man who appeared agitated raising his voice to cabin crew and fellow passengers.

SMH actually reported what happened.

Multiple passengers spoke of the fear on board when the man, who was bald and had a grey beard, began to yell in the aisles, with a backpack strapped to his chest.

“My name is Mohammed, slave of Allah,” the man told staff. “Are you a slave of Allah? Are you? Say it! Say it! Are you a slave of Allah?”

He's already in a psychological prison, so it will not make any difference. Anyway, he'd be out on parole pretty quickly.

He's obviously a nut case.

Do they still have insane asylums for types like him?

Man charged over allegedly claiming to have explosives on MH122 flight out of Sydney.

So... did he or did he not actually have
explosives in his backpack?  And why did
the AFP take so long (nearly 3 hours?) to
enter the aircraft and remove the man?

This offence carries a maximum penalty of
10 years' imprisonment and a fine of over
$15,000.

NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb said
authorities responded reasonably given the
nature of the incident.  This is the same cop
who responded inappropriately to the tasering
of 95-year-old Clare Nowland in May this year.

   Incompetence anyone?     Roll Eyes
