Now now, Greggery, it's TOTALLY UNFAIR. Do you know what this ruling is?
Quote:Ted Goodman, a political advisor to Rudy Giuliani, has released a statement in response to today’s federal court ruling that the former attorney for Trump is liable for defaming two Georgia election workers. It repeats what most of the Trump allies have said in response to 2020 election cases.
“This is a prime example of the weaponization of the justice system, where the process is the punishment. This decision should be reversed, as Mayor Giuliani is wrongly accused of not preserving electronic evidence that was seized and held by the FBI,” Goodman said.
Can you believe this nonsense? What makes a couple of uppity
tinted women like this think they can target America's mayor? It's so wrong, it
reeks of injustice.
Look, all Rudy did was suggest they were throwing bag loads of fake ballots into drop boxes, is that a crime? Okay, he might have let it slip that they were passing USB sticks with fake data around, all hush-hush like they were dealing heroin or cocaine. Alright, he might have indicated that they were Soros plants, bribed tens of thousands of dollars by the corrupt Deep State, but he challenges anyone to prove any different. I know the Georgia election commission proved different, but that's just the sort of clarity Rudy was seeking!
So what if he gave out their names and addresses? People need to know this for identification purposes. Viewers of Fox News aren't stupid, you know. Rudy never said anything nasty about their characters or, okay he might have called them corrupt to the bone, but nothing racial. Apart from the one Aunt Jemima reference, but Tucker thought that one was funny, so he didn't actually offend anyone.
Look, Rudy was just repeating what he was advised, okay? Is that so bad? There is a first amendment, you know. Americans are still free to express themselves - or others. Rudy was only saying what he was told, you see. He never actually believed it all himself. Ultimately, he was just following orders. What's wrong with that? People say things they don't believe all the time, that doesn't make it wrong.
Look, just hurry up and issue the damages already. The big fella's hosting a Rudy legal fund-raiser at the Bedminster Country Club. Rudy needs a number he can hit the elites up for.
A hundred thousand a head, so there shouldn't be any riff raff. Look, it's a Trump do, so you get what you get...
