Fraser Island closures begin
Aug 17th, 2023 at 12:00pm

https://au.news.yahoo.com/tourists-dangerous-behaviour-sparks-major-change-on-kg...

"Popular beachfront camping areas have been closed across K'gari, formally Fraser Island, in Queensland as "irresponsible" behaviour by tourists continues to provoke dangerous reactions from dingos (wongari).

There’s no shortage of signage warning visitors against interacting with the native animals, which can be dangerous, rangers on the island warn, yet there's still been a surge in reports of people flouting the rules.

Humane Society International’s Evan Quatermain said "the actions of a few ruin it for the many," but he applauds the state government's latest move.

"The value of the dingo on K’gari is greater than the value of tourism so something has to change," he told Yahoo News Australia. "People need to be held accountable"."

International Rights Of the Dingo Week... pray tell how are these tourists to NOT interact with animals that just walk into their sites etc like Abos who own the whole place?  Shoot them?

Typical faceless public servant bowing to the whims of the Abos up there.

The Dingo's are a menace, as are the people that feed them bait and fish scraps. But it's a pissweak excuse for a ban. The same people will just feed them somewhere else. If they are serious about not feeding the dingoes, they should enforce the rules, instead of just using it as an excuse for more racist exclusions.

Trust crappler to make this another rant about aborigines.

Maybe you should blame the stupid anglos feeding dingoes so that they can get a selfie with a dingo to post on social media instead of being the racist dickhead you always are.

So, if it boils down to tourists v dingoes....the dingoes should be removed?

If you look a little closer there is a pattern here.

The natives close off places to white people when given control then they expect white people to pay up to maintain these areas for their exclusive use.

We're paying $7K a week for security to keep white people out of a place FD mentioned fairly recently. If security doesn't keep them out tyres are slashed and windows broken. I will give a hint it's Mount W?

Zoo 'em up - ship the wild ones to Aborassic Park so their Aboriginal mates can deal with them.

Just take your gun with you when jogging on Fraser Island.
