Spinifex?

I just don't buy the argument that the landscape, flora/fauna conspired to keep Abos as rudimentary hunter gatherers.

Had they been more industrious, they'd have traveled to our near neighbours and brought back animals and plants which could be cultivated.

Hello Indonesa, swap you a boomerang and a possum skin hat for a bag of rice seeds.

Apparently Indonesian traders introduced tamarind to the north.

I think Jared Diamond would have a lot to say about geography, flora and fauna and how it affected Aboriginal economics.

Are you playing a word association game?

People who can't distinguish between etymology and entomology bug me in ways I cannot put into words.

Native Millet could have become an agricultural crop if it underwent the same selective pressure by man as other wild grains did in other parts of the world but it never had that "evolutionary blowtorch"( Grin) put to it. Corn, wheat, barley, rice etc, etc.

Gee, I wonder why no one in Africa, Asia, NZ or the Middle East ever made flour from spinifex.  You should show everyone how its done
