When a Post Office registers incoming mail that’s awaiting collection it completes an entry on a register. Said entries are then signed off by 2 officers.

Incoming mail awaiting collection at the post office is treated differently.

There is a reason that AusPost discourages sending cash in the mail. It is not illegal. It is the most common vector for theft of mail by postal workers.

Actually it is illegal. You probably want me to provide you with the name of the Act and sub section. Unfortunately for you I’m not going to provide it to you. That will have to be more homework for you. Google will help you there.

Now ... could we get back to the matter at hand? If you don’t mind?

It is not illegal to send cash through the mail(given that it is not part of a criminal act). However, AusPost discourages it as it is the most likely cause of theft by postal workers.

Aussie might even be able to confirm that for you. He's a lawyer, I believe.

No, it's not illegal. You're confusing illegality with AusPost policy again.

FFS! Stop being a clueless and ignorant pest!

You don’t have to be a lawyer to know that it’s illegal to send cash via Australia Post!

Oh and Australia Post NEVER open envelopes or parcels. Do you know why? A few reasons actually. More homework for you though. Ok outta here.

Like your “proof” the PO never got my envelope. I bet they did you know.

Proving a negative.

Autistics can't comprehend the logic problems with that.

So when a person is informed by Post Office Management that no such letter or parcel is registered or appears in any record .... then such a person HAS a problem. Not you 2 multi junkie Mongs.😂🤣😆

Get out of here. And take the BS you 2 tosspots have smeared everywhere back to your usual cave - Monks Manure Mound.

It means that AusPost cannot find the item.

It's not proof that the item did not arrive...

FMD! It IS PROOF that the item did not get to that post office TO BE registered you ignorant tosspot. Keep googling. Oh and don’t forget to look up the term Rorschach. 😂🤣😆

No, it's not proof that it didn't arrive. It could have arrived and been lost or stolen at the Post Office.

FMD you’re a dumbarse! When it arrives it gets registered. Why?? So it DOESN’T GET LOST you insufferable tosspot! Now Master Moron...pick up all your BS and your multi troll buddy Demented Drunk and head back to his Manure Mound. Oh ... have you looked up the term Rorschach yet?

No experience with issues in Post offices, then.

AusPost cannot determine where an item was likely lost unless it is tracked.

And, if the item was stolen from within the post office, no trace of it will likely be found.

Unregistered items are the most likely to be stolen.

Have you quite finished?

Nothing you’ve posted is relevant to this matter. You’re not understanding what’s happened. You’ve always had this issue irrespective of the fake multi is you use.

One more time for Master Moron :

When a Post Office registers incoming mail that’s awaiting collection it completes an entry on a register. Said entries are then signed off by 2 officers.

Incoming mail awaiting collection at the post office is treated differently.

Now ... earlier today I stated to you that Monk made the decision to send cash in an envelope. Aussie had no say in it. Monk did what he did and took the associated risks but ultimately the Post Office in question has NO RECORD of an envelope sent by Monk to Aussie under the particular names stated. No record on their register whatsoever.

I’ve been posting this over and over again to you but you just never bothered to read my post to understand that it’s not a matter for Aussie ... he’s telling the truth! Australia Post has confirmed that the relevant recipient’s name is not registered anywhere in their records for anything awaiting collection nor has it any record by the relevant sender’s name.

So you're saying that had Aussie, the lawyer, received the letter containing cash, he would have been duty-bound to report a crime, then. Or if he received the letter and kept the money he would have aided and abetted a criminal act.

It is not illegal to send cash through the mail. It is AusPost policy to discourage and often decline to accept mail if the sender declares it contains cash.

You can't seem to tell the difference between illegality and courier policy.

Some people can't separate illegality from a company's policy.

The same problem happens when dealers in precious items (gold, silver, jewels, valuable items etc) use AusPost. They need to come to either a private agreement with AusPost regarding liability for lost or stolen items or contract a 3rd-party insurance company to cover losses with AusPost agreement.

While it is not illegal to send legally purchased precious items via the mail, AusPost will almost certainly decline to provide the service if they are aware of the parcel's contents without a private agreement.

If it wasn’t for Aussie and his wanting to play games all the bloody time this would have been done in a minute using EFT.

All this fuss over a bit of pocket change, petty cash FFS!

So...why didn't you send it to my account?  I did not ask you not to.

Now that you're here, you would know that sending cash through the mail is not a crime; otherwise, if you knowingly received the letter containing cash, would you have been duty-bound to report a crime?

Or if you received the letter and kept the money would you have been complicit in the commission of a crime?

You said I should send you neither cash or cake.

Couldn’t be stuffed making the second cake so it was cash.

If you wanted it EFT you should have given me the account details. But then I could prove I sent and you received the money and that wouldn’t suit the game you were playing. So I just used the one avenue that was left and told you that when I put the envelope in the pillar box I considered the $60 paid.

You could have sent the cash by registered letter with signature on delivery.
