That is not correct.  I did provide Monk with some casual assistance gratis and quite happily on several matters and later, he made a public post saying he would send me $1000.00.  I appropriately declined that offer and suggested that if he wanted to do anything, he make me a fruit cake instead...and on it went from there.

I'll add.
That I have had my own experiences with so called friends in my life.
I found that many friends pushed the friendship too far -
the more I helped them - the more help they wanted  -
they became needy and dependent on me and
when I withdrew help there was hell to pay - even threats of violence.
Needless to say I had to dump them after realising I was being used.

example -
one friend who I gave an old working computer to -
ended up wanting a lifetime warranty on it.
They would endlessly call me every time something went wrong and
it was usually because they hadn't bothered to work out how to use it.
When I would show them what was wrong -
they couldn't even be bothered looking to learn anything about it
so they could fix it themselves next time.

One time a hard disk failed and they got me to supply a whole new
hard disk at my expense and reload windows too.
That person never paid me for anything -
even though I knew they had money but cried poor -
they thought it was part of their assumed lifetime warranty on a gift.

I stopped giving old computers away after that.
I've had an old quad core here for 2 years and I've offered it to no one.

Well you did ban me for 2-3 short periods. I probably deserved those bans so no probs but you do not have a complete record of those you banned for short periods.
